I think Obito could have killed Kabuto there if he wanted to.
He fought against Naruto, Bee, Kakashi and Gai at the same time and still didn't lose (and only didn't win because Kakashi had Kamui too).

Kabuto would have to put them all into mindless mode since they wouldn't fight Tobi/Obito on their own, making them a lot weaker. Not to forget that Obito could resort to Izanagi for 10 minutes if things were to get nasty.

Yeah Kabuto would probably loose because of plot. But Obito would be near death after fighting him so it wouldn't make any sense fighting such a powerful foe when you already have to fight the whole alliance

Madara only broke Edo Tensei's contract after kabuto's restraints on him had been lifted because of Itachi, It was because of Itachi undoing Edo tensei that kabuto lost controll in the first place.

Not once did Madara ever attempt to break the contract while kabuto had him bound to his edo tensei. So the hole "Madara will just break edo Tensei on a whim" argument is debateable.
