Was Juubito immortal

After absorbing the Shinju, Madara claimed he had become immortal/undying. Juubito had the tree within him during a portion of his existence as a Juubi Jin. During that time was Juubito "immortal", or was Madara getting full of himself after absorbing the shinju and briefly speaking to Kaguya.

if Juubito is immortal then Sasuke's pathetic Kanseitai Susanoo can't defeat Juubito. U_U Only Solo Emperor Kakashi Kanseitai Susanoo can manage it due to the insanely powerful kamui shuriken

He only had the Juubi and then used it to grow a new tree, Madara has the Juubi in addition to the fully bloomed tree.

The juubi he spawned transformed into the god tree. That doesn't mean he absorbed it at all.

Technically, Obito did have the Shinju within him. He was the one who released it in the first place. The Shinju was always there along with Kaguya.

Strangely enough, Obito nearly lost himself while the Shinju (Kaguya) was within him. Madara lost himself the moment he took the Shinju back in.

JJ Hagoromo split the Juubi because he feared it would be free when he died, JJ Madara admitted that Gai nearly killed him. Both of them were a level above Obito which means he was not not immortal.

Neither of your points justify your conclusion. Hagoromo split the ten-tails after witnessing Ashura's way of life and survived on the Demonic Statue alone, not the Holy Tree. Madara didn't have the Holy Tree when fighting Guy.

If Hagoromo was immortal he wouldn't fear the Juubi taking over his body in the first place, the reason he made the 9 bijuu is because he knew he would eventually die meaning he wasn't immortal.

And Madara made it clear he wasn't immortal before absorbing the Shinju, he admitted that he could not afford to tank anymore of Gai's evening elephants and stated that he was nearly killed. And after getting hit by Naruto's Lava RS he resorted to absorbing the tree meaning he feared for his life.

Demonic statue extends the person's life force because of its chakra reserves but it still has a limit to how much chakra it can give because it's nowhere near the level of what Kaguya possessed. If it had the life force required to be immortal then Madara could've used it to make himself younger.

And Madara made it clear he wasn't immortal before absorbing the Shinju, he admitted that he could not afford to tank anymore of Gai's evening elephants and stated that he was nearly killed. And after getting hit by Naruto's Lava RS he resorted to absorbing the tree meaning he feared for his life.

Madara wasn't fearing for his life in that moment as he had regenerated enough from the attack to jump up and absorb the tree. The fact he specifically stated he was immortal after confirms what the Holy Tree grants.

It has nothing to do with chakra but sheer life force itself. Besides, I never once stated that the Demonic Statue grants immortality.
