Whenever you can pull out their fight event showing that Jiraiya lost to these two within 700 chapters then come again. Otherwise get lost

How about the FACT that Itachi, the one who stated this obvious lie... Is an ally of the leaf, still protecting Sasuke after the 3rd died and kept the AKUTSKI and Danzo at bay while he was alive.

Depends. If Itachi was really 11 years old when he fought Orochimaru, then he can at least handle one of the Sannin.

The only incarnation of Itachi I can see handling all of the Sannin at once is Healthy Itachi which is the state that Edo Itachi was (excluding the Edo Tensei advantages).

Part 1 itachi's hype was so real but in no way an 11 year old child is beating all three at the same time. He can best them one on one.

Itachi was on a personal mission and him knowing all the safe guards years after "defection" only makes konoha look bad you pleb... also goes to show that he easily bypassed they defences and could do it whenever he wanted.. remember he found obito slinking around when no one else did.. Lord Crow just took a casual stroll through the leaf and it's shinobi...plus how did he run lol he stayed to realign sasuke to the path of power and let the elders know what's really good.. slid jiraiya some slick Intel then smashed(left pn his own terms) clean through jiraiya's fodder frong intestine tech that way fodders don't get ahead of themselves resulting in their death...

there's a few things that discredits your whole cliched "reread the manga" retort:

First of all, i know why he returned to the village. The thing you don't seem to want to conveniently leave out is the part where he had to sneak around doing it. That in and of itself implies a fear of being noticed by somebody. It eliminates your whole baloney that he strolled through the place if you cared to notice that Itachi slinked away from that restaurant the moment Kakashi had turned around where he and Kisame were previously sitting.


Which brings me to the second thing. Itachi explicitly stating that he and Kisame shouldn't get involved in a drawn out fight with Kakashi because he didn't want them to get significantly injured in the process and bolting once Gai showed up and said he informed ANBU about Itachi being there pretty much indicates a fear of something.

Third, that fire didn't do anything to that toad other than burn a hole big enough for Itachi and Kisame to escape through, which again implies a fear of getting hurt. I won't waste any more time and effort on trying to logic you about this since you're clearly intent on pulling ankle for Itachi here.

Jiraiya didn't do anything because taking on Itachi was a right Sasuke had before anyone else did and Jiraiya understood that, considering what Itachi was directly responsible for. Jiraiya was more than capable of holding his own against Pain, so irdk where you are getting this garbage idea from that he was supposed to be scared of someone who was little more than a slightly better version of Shisui. If you want to continue having a problem with what i have to say about it, then i suggest you grow used to the idea that ppl in this world will have opinions that differ from your own and deal with it.
