Except that it does, because every white person is born with a greater potential based solely on history and skin color.

White people are Uchiha, and minorities are Inuzukas. Are there extraordinary Inuzuka that can perform above and beyond the Uchiha? Yes. But are Uchiha automatically placed within a higher potential bracket based solely on their lineage? Yes.
The Uchiha are biologically superior, in terms of being a ninja, so this analogy really comes off as the view you're opposing.

Whether it's right or wrong is not for me or anyone in this thread to decide. I don't care, and neither should anyone who isn't effect by this directly. People who are getting butthurt about these football players not standing for the pledge are just as bad as SJW's telling people what's right and wrong according to their beliefs and opinions.

Great point, whats also more disingenuous is the people criticizing these black players about them protesting are the same people who complain about free speech violations and campus safe spaces. Yet when these athletes want to exercise their basic American right they are angry. Many black americans also fought and died and bled for this country and they deserve to leave in a country where there is equal treatment according to the law.

Why should they not have the right to exercise their constitutional rights on any day they chose? It may be wrong to you and i but why not?

Why would you not have done it? Blacks also fought and died for america and they serve in the military they deserve to live in a country where they are treated equally.

Unless someone makes a stand and say enough is enough nothing will change, one person can change a room and if it can change a room it can change a state and if it can change a state it can change the country. Imagine if rosa parks said that her refusing to stand-up when asked to get up from her seat wouldn't change anything. Change takes time but as martin luther king said the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice.

Punks for exercising their constitutional rights to demand equal treatment for blacks? But let me guess those who call the president of the united states a muslim and deny he is an american citizen are not punks right?
I mean if its kneeling or sitting of course why not. But I'm talking something big.

Yeah its their right not to but it is a meassage they unintended or intentendedly sent that meassage is they dont respect those that died that day 9/11 as a whole is a date we pay respect to those died in those towers and the firefighters and even police rushed into those towers and not only that but also to the brave souls who fought on flight 93 theres a point of standing for a cause but theres a time and place for it and a time to be respectful and athletes are held to a high standard because they are supposed to be role models

Now for those americans who feel they are so opressed my message to you is why the hell are you here you dont have to stay no ones holding you here so go to russia go to china go where ever unlike you there are people who genuinely love their country the usa love it or hate it so its ether take it or leave it

You sound ridiculous. People protest because they love their country, and expect better from it. Our founding fathers left their homes and came to this land to escape that very same douchebag mentality you are spewing of take it or leave it. Learn about your history, and think if you should really be repeating some nonsense. Wanting a country to treat you as equals does not make you hate your country.

I didn't like/agree with it, especially since 9/11 had nothing to do with police brutality. Although I do not believe their constitutional rights (freedom of speech?) should be violated, but it seemed inappropriate regardless.

The only white privilege is being born in a country where we are the population's majority.

We have no privilege in China or India or Mexico.

Stop talking about white privilege as if it's a world law. Every single instance of white privilege can be attributed to whites being majority.

OP:stop talking about restricting their freedom of speech. No one is talking about restrictions by the government. We are just exorcising our first amendment right to say they are morons.

As long as white people are also getting killed by the police(238 white this year), then this protest has no actual basis.

Maybe if Kaepernick made this about police accountability for all races instead of "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,", then he would get white support. Until then he like you is ignorant and racist.

Stop Alienating white people morons.

Supporting the constitution and supporting a specific situation, where silence is held in ceremony to support the people who died in a treacherous event are two different things. Sure, the constitution does give one the freedom to express opinion, but this doesn't mean you should express it in the 9/11 ceremony; have a bit of respect at least.

Those black players are all multimillionaires, so I see no reason why they protested. They themselves have more privilege than a middle class white man, but I don't see them protesting this racial privilege. It's all about popularity and media attention.
So someone who is rich can't protest for better treatment of others? You act like someone can only protest if they themselves are being discriminated against.
