Was it really Obito who fought Minato?

So it's established that the Tobi that orchestrated everything malicious in part II is Obito (at least in form and appearance; we don't know for sure yet). But was it really this Obito that fought Minato all those years back?

I mean... there have been theories going around that Tobi isn't actually a single person, but an idea --- a character whose shoes are filled by different shinobi at different times.

SO...IMO, the very fact that Kishi has revealed Tobi to be Obito is proof in itself that the masked man who fought (and lost) to Minato was in fact not Obito because the timeline simply doesn't make sense (and I do not believe time-travelling is canon)!

tobi used same S/T as what he is using now , so i believe he was obito only and not madara.

Also Madara had EMS and long hair, and his pride wouldn't let him do this bitchy things...

That person has the same abilities as tobi who has been revealed as obito. I however believe there are two masked men. Okay look at it this way. Obito's ms abilities are s/t technique's. Madara's other two techniques are known, but since he shown us susano, but also his plan requires tsukuyomi its safe to say his technique's are the same as itachi's and sasuke's. DB also supports him having amaterasu and tsukuyomi as his other technique's.

Anyway although its been revealed that tobi is obito, it hasnt revealed everything. Obito's body coudlve been taken over therefore it wasnt obito but something in his body, but then again i couldnt care less anymore. Not interested in this CSI nonsense anymore

Well the S/T jutsu are derived from the Sharigan right? And the Sharigans can be artificially implanted! Kakashi is an excellent case in point! That means it could be aanyone (preferably an Uchiha) behind that mask because sharingan eyeballs can be surgically (and very easily) transplanted.
