was guy on 8 gates mode when fighting tobi?

in this last chapter, guy really did well against tobi in a one-on-one fight, but was he on 8 gates mode? It really didn't seem like it, so does that mean he is already exhausted? I wouldn't be too suprised if he is tired, I mean, he and kakashi just fought against 6 bijuus, and guy entered the 7th gate while at it, not to mention the war. Or maybe Kishi is just stopping guy from using them, otherwise it woud be much easier to defeat tobi, which would end the fight pretty quickly. What do you guys think?

He was NOT and he still looked awesome fighting, especially the part where he blocked Tobi's attack from behing with his nunchuks that was badass.

Fighting tobi with taijutsu is not that much of an accomplishment that he would have to being the 8th gate. Guy has not used the gates against tobi because tobi would just phase out. Guy has already used 7th gate I think. I guess he is done with the gates unless he opens the 8th gate does something awesome and then dies.
