he practically managed to pin SM Naruto down,, with an intention of only capturing,,and being heavily nerfed,,, after using CST and fighting the entire konoha before,,,,,,, on top of that,, once devas power returned,,, pein overwhelmed sm naruto quite easily,,,
narutos better SM usage and firepower is better an all,, but it still isnt enough seeing that pein can still immoblilise him jus like he did in canon

Nagato was already confirmed to be much more powerful than Pain.

Therefore, Pain's planetary devastation is weaker, and Massive ransenshuriken has a chance to destroy Pain's


Also, Naruto's already canonically desecrated 5 Pains. Only problem is Deva Path. However, we've already seen the results of that.

Even if Nagato was weakened, you have to take into consideration the massive strength increase in SM. SM Naruto will be able to resist with clones and then beat Deva Path in the interval. Once that's done, Naruto destroys the rest low-diff. Naruto can also specifically target Deva Path by using ransenshuriken against him, forcing him to use deva path. That also makes the time gap.

Perhaps, but I already explained why there's a good change Naruto can counter planetary devastation, and as long as SM Naruto is not close to pain when the big almighty push is used, he'll survive. There were a good deal of villagers that survived it, so SM durability tanks it if he's not directly in it.
