Kakashi overcomes mei in taijutsu, (she hasn't any good feats)
if he gets close enough he can put her in a genjustu, like once he did with the roots of danzo, after that finishing her with raikiri
If he goes underground he can attack with clones beneath her and so he is able to trap her with ration kagebunshin
His dog summons could attack also from underground keeping mei busy, while he attacks her with raikiri or raikiri kunai or lightning dog

he is faster than her, can increase his speed with the first gate.
Mei showed she has only his KKGs that put her in the position of a kage , but she can't win against a sharingan user with the level of Kakashis Skill.

good point, but mist gave kakashi the chance to use silent killing,
Kakashi even without sharingan has very good reaction speed, he will be able to avoid the suiton jutsus
mei never has summoned lava oceans,
Kakashi has hiding like a mole, a technique which gave him a big andvatage, even if he is surrounded by acid mist, his sharp senses allow him to feel that he is in danger, he will go underground planning his next move with shadow clones or his dogs or both.

He already shitted on hidden mist twice in cannon. He sees the chakra in acid mis and dodges via hiding like mole. Earth wall blocks her water techs. And ocean's of lava? Don't get ahead of yourself.

War-Arc Kakashi should be capable of blitzing Mei, as she never showed impressive reflexes or speed in general, while Kakashi was capable of blitzing a Jinchuriki. Doton walls counter both her Suiton and her lava. Hiding like a mole is a viable option against the acid mist and mist in general. Raiton Clone easily tricks her while Kakashi gets behind her via hiding like a mole and uses Kamui. Mei should not be difficult for him to deal with.

Mist is countered by ninja dogs. Large scale suiton is Kamui'd, or possibly dodged. MS Sasuke dodged lava, Kakashi should be able to as well.

Mei wins mid difficulty. No intel means that Kakashi won't know the difference between hidden mist or acid mist so he is likely to sustain serious injuries right as the battle begins, putting this fight ultimately in Mei's favour.

Kakashi won't be able to differentiate between Mei, the hidden mist and the Futton. Kakashi ends up getting melted mid diff.
