did he really use izanagi to survive against hashirama? i dont remember that happening. from what i remember and i might be wrong was that he was fatally wounded, survived and awakened the rinnegan much later before he implanted them in nagato

Gaining the Rinnegan takes decades upon decades of time, much more time than Obito and Danzō had Hashirama's DNA and the Sharingan. So nope, not quite.
