You speak as if izanami needs to be used right after its been prepared. It doesn't.

I do. That's how Jutsu works. Molding Chakra according to the technique that wants to be used, then it activates. Exceptions are time delayed Jutsu like Zetsu's spore technique. Other than that, I don't see any requirements. What should he have prepared beforehand? It's just like Izanagi, Koto Amatsukami or Tsukuyomi - they don't need any preparation aside from the conditions they are used under, for example eye contact.

Whatever Itachi spoke of when he said 'It's already prepared', it was related to Kabuto - nothing he could've done before. May it be making contact with him, eye contact or merely looking at him from close range.

You don't need SM for frog song, one only need to summon ma and pa and it can be used.

Frog song also doesn't have the downside of losing an eye.

On top of this the frogs also provide infinite sage mode while charging on your shoulders and it allows you to keep fighting - the only issue with it is the time it takes to charge. I will say Izanami is extremely powerful but not on the level on the frog song.

I tend to think that Kabtuo's flashback was a real time event in which he explained his life to the Uchiha brothers. And they for the most part were listening to it.

Nope, flashbacks are not the person speaking... Kabuto wasn't narating his life.... he was thinking of it himself after itachi said the words... after the flashbacks ,the first words he said was

"I was always alone..."
