Didn't learn much English from school, elementary level at best. Putting yourself into situations where you need to speak another language and where you hear it consistently is what stepped up the game for me, plus i was a kid (10 year old or something like that when i started seriously learning English) so a pretty ridicolous fast learner.

Heck, my schoolmates would rather shot themselves than translate what i just typed. And we are 15/16, mind you. Just trying to learn it theoretically doesn't actually help (For example, Italian is rather simple from a "book view", but trying to speak it correctly is another completely different thing).

I may be good at English, but i don't understand half the shit Shelke types. That dude is real good lol.

I gotcha, I'm 21. So it's been about 3 years since I've made much attempt to speak and learn another language, but everything we did was in a classroom setting. What I learned ended around being able to say you liked something, or saying that something tasted good. It was far from being able to carry a fluent conversation though, and that was after 3 years

Shelke just owns a thesaurus. Pretty much all his posts use sophisticated words to crate some illusion of intelligence. 80% of the time those he's just spewing nonsense
