Its pretty obvious that Naruto isn't going to be hokage with all the twist sh!t kishi does, so keep thinking that main character sentence, until you understand kishi you'll never see what's coming.

If Naruto doesn't become hokage the entire purpose of the series would be complete BS

Think about it, we've already seen people say hokage is my dream and they never get to it. Maybe Kishimoto is trying to let you know something. Everything at this moment is to complex to just be stating stuff out of what you want. Instead try to predict and have something to back yourself up

Yes, budget. From the information we know naruto isn't really the smartest person. It may not take alot be he isn't patient either. His clones yes would come in handy in manpower but Naruto's not the type to be calm and think rationally in a intense situation. It's been proven. His emotions guiding his words, thats a bad thing as to being Hokage. Both Tsunade and Raikage might respect but it doesn't mean it's a requirement to become Hokage.

Naruto has matured a fair deal over the course of the series. Ay hasn't exactly been shown to be a genius either. In any event, intelligence is completely and utterly irrelevant. Naruto has Kurama, who is intelligent, and centuries old (=experience).

He has the respect of all of the other Kages, and also of the entire shinobi world. He was pretty much the de facto leader of the Shinobi Alliance after Madara showed up, and before the four Hokages arrived. The entire world views him as a hero, and the villagers themselves stated, after the Pain attack, that Naruto "should be Hokage".

Sasuke doesn't only understand the hate specific to him he also knows the history that has been repeated in the village. Naruto only urged Sasuke not to take revenge because he knew it was wrong and because he didn't want him to be consumed by darkness. Naruto never understood Sasuke's pain. Sasuke didn't change cause of Naruto he changed cause of Itachi and what Hashirama said to him. You're right about Naruto understanding how to create peace. But Sasuke understands what needs to be done to save the village from a repeat of bloodshed and hate. Jiraiya didn't leave Hokage for him. He left him to find a way that all shinobi understand eachother, a way to find peace. Not Hokage.

Naruto didn't understand Sasuke's pain? The dude was ostracised from society his entire life for no fault of his own. He didn't even know why everyone hated him. To top this off, he lived alone, his entire life, in a crappy apartment and the only real friends he ever had were Teuchi and Hiruzen. Everyone else either downright hated him, or simply avoided him. I'm sorry, but Sasuke's pain is nothing compared to Naruto's. The "you were always alone" is complete bullshit.

Anyway, everything you said justifies Sasuke becoming Naruto's right hand man, not becoming Hokage.

Sasuke has made mistakes but he has helped more that he hurt, even if it was unintentionally. Sasuke never said sorry for the things he has done and he never said he would make it up to anyone. He wants to only protect the thing his brother died for and follow his brothers will. Sasuke bears the hatred of his whole clan but he's putting it aside for his brother.

You're falling into a broken window fallacy. None of Sasuke's actions so far have been intended to help Konoha or the Shinobi Alliance. His criminal record is huge.

But if we put it in terms of Naruto as Hashirama and Sasuke as Madara. Well Madara told Hashirama that one day the Uchiha's will be annihilated and he wanted to become Hokage to change that. But instead Hashirama did and what Madara foretold actually came true. Madara truly cared for the village and his people, he seen the hate festering and wanted to stop it. But he didn't have the chance as for no one wanted him to be Hokage except Hashirama. But in the end Madara did know what was best and Hashirama failed. Later Madara became corrupted but before that his ideals were what the village needed and the village didn't want to accept him just like Sasuke. What the village needs is Sasuke.

Even the Uchihas voted for Hashirama. The same thing would happen now. NOBODY would vote for Sasuke. He's an S-Rank international criminal. And Naruto is the hero of Konoha, and the Saviour of this World.

The position is pretty much there for him to take at this point. Tsunade's death = Rokudaime Hokage Naruto Uzumaki.

The Uchiha Clan Massacre was a terrible crime on Hiruzen's part. Nothing justifies the genocide of an entire clan, no matter what.

But still, it was an Uchiha (Obito) that changed the village's impression of the clan (strong, elite, loyal). So... In any event, the village > Madara. Madara would probably have done better in terms of the Uchiha clan, but what about the rest of the village? Like Tobirama said, Hashirama was the visionary. It was his plan, his ambition that created the village system. Madara should have stayed in the village as Hashirama's right hand man, and become the Second Hokage after Hashirama died.

Madara, despite having lost a lot of his clan's respect, was still Clan Head. He had Hashirama's backing. He could have easily gained back his reputation, and challenged Tobirama for the seat of Hokage. Furthermore, as Hashirama's right hand man, he would have had a big say in internal and foreign policy.

I think you're giving Kishimoto far too much credit.

The point of this is to say that it's still to complicated than to just let Naruto be hokage cause he's the main character and cause he wanted it.

Naruto has matured a fair deal over the course of the series. Ay hasn't exactly been shown to be a genius either. In any event, intelligence is completely and utterly irrelevant. Naruto has Kurama, who is intelligent, and centuries old (=experience).

We cannot compare this to other kage. Honestly Ay was brought up under his own father and was probably taught the basics on the duties of a kage. Other villages have different ways and reasons for becoming a kage. So we really can't compare them to sasuke or naruto becoming Hokage. Your right that Kurama might have some great advise and experience but he's been inside a person through most of the bad history and we are not even sure if he knows much more than naruto or kushina or mito. He's been inside people over the years and I believe he won't really be an asset in giving advise on changing the village or even creating peace. From what we see he doesn't really care.

Yes, he is admired and has everyone's respect and they did say he should be Hokage.

Yes Naruto didn't understand Sasuke pain. The only thing he understood was the pain of being alone. Sasuke also had the pain of losing his family right before his eyes and having the one he cares most for do it. He was thrown in darkness and had the weight of the uchiha hate on him. So tell me again that Naruto understood his pain. Cause that's bullshit. Everyone didn't hate Naruto he often played around with shikamaru, choji, and kiba. He was alone but he never had to feel the pain of losing his family. And that's what makes their pains different. Yes he was hated but not by everyone. Don't exaggerate .

Anyway, everything you said justifies Sasuke becoming Naruto's right hand man, not becoming Hokage.

Bullshit...........

You're falling into a broken window fallacy. None of Sasuke's actions so far have been intended to help Konoha or the Shinobi Alliance. His criminal record is huge.

What the hell does falling into a broken window mean? Like I said even if it was unintentional he did help more than he has hurt. Sasuke's actions may have been for himself, but in the bigger picture his actions benefited everyone and also hurt some, but benefited more.

Even the Uchihas voted for Hashirama. The same thing would happen now. NOBODY would vote for Sasuke. He's an S-Rank international criminal. And Naruto is the hero of Konoha, and the Saviour of this World.

Furthermore, as Hashirama's right hand man, he would have had a big say in internal and foreign policy.

Your right about this part but only because the majority of people didn't know the truth or all of it. If they did know the truth and the reasons for his actions I believe things would be different. He wouldn't just be a criminal, in the end he would be a hero. Sasuke has commited crimes to all villages, but he has also helped them all the most. Sasuke fought 2 of the akatsuki, absorbed orochimaru, fought with Itachi and stopped Kabuto's edo tensei, helped with summoning the past hokage and told them about the war and is now to fight in it himself to protect the village he cares for. Hey may have done some wrong things but the good outweighs the bad. Also he set orochimaru's prisoners free, just another good deed.

Madara wouldn't have only done things to benefit the Uchiha he would of also helped the village aswell. Where did you get this idea that he was only in it for the Uchiha. Also both Madara and Hashirama had visions that created the village system not just Hashirama. Hashirama told him he could be Hokage, but Madara knew that he would never be elected, for the senju hated him. You say he could have easily gained his reputation back well maybe he could but you also have to understand the uchiha pride they carry as one of the strongest clans. He wasn't going to just stand idlely by while the village disagreed with everything he said. Even if he had Hashiramas backing the village wouldn't accept it cause they didn't accept him. They would accept Tobirama though and Madara knew this. That's why he wanted to become Hokage, it would be a sure way for his ideals to be brought to the light without it going through someone else. He deserved the hokage seat even Hashirama said it himself. Madara would of been a better Hokage.

I'm tired arguing this. It is apparent that you refuse to accept that Sasuke is not on good enough terms with the Leaf and all of the other villages in the alliance in order to become Hokage. He is a criminal. Regardless of how he may be better than Naruto at the job (he wouldn't be), he will never be allowed to hold the position unless he tries to take it by force. Uprisings would occur in the leaf if Sasuke held the position, and Sasuke should understand that holding such a position after what he has done will create distrust between the leaf and other villages. If he truly wanted what was best for the village he would resign the position to the leader that has far better relations with the leaf and the officials and populations of different villages; Naruto. Advising Naruto would be the best case scenario for Sasuke, and that is only because Naruto would be able to TNJ the other villages heads into accepting Sasuke's new position.

"Helping more than he hurt" is not an acceptable excuse for Sasuke to become Hokage. Especially not compared to Naruto who has only helped, and a great deal more than Sasuke at that.

Alright, people. Have you not been paying attention AT ALL?

Sasuke is an international criminal not liked by many.

Naruto is CLEARLY the better choice.

But when Hashirama took the Hokage seat, Madara turned to the curse of hatred.

THE ONLY TRUE SOLUTION IS TO MAKE SASUKE THE HOKAGE.

Tobirama himself stated that the most loyal villagers are the Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha had inherited Hashiraam's will the most. Sasuke will protect the village like his brothers like Madara was going to.

That makes sense for plot, but is pretty ridiculous when Sasuke becoming Hokage should create tension within the alliance and inevitably work against an ideal of peace. Not to mention that Sasuke will have stolen Naruto's dream right out from under him.
