i find it adorable how selective the narrative is when it comes to that fight. When it comes to literally any other fight where somebody's ideology & agenda were a part of it(no matter how relevant or irrelevant they may have been), nobody goes "it was draw, and the only thing that was defeated was the loser's ideals".
No, this fight is where ppl decide to make an exception...even when Sasuke says "i lost" as a direct result of Naruto saying he was going to continue to physically fight Sasuke as long as it took to set his head straight in a fight to the death that Sasuke himself instigated. I don't recall Sasuke saying anything along the lines of "i challenge you to an ideology battle". The dude literally talked about killing Naruto, tried numerous times to kill him, and up to hrs before then mentioned his plan to physically destroy Naruto. The author himself even referred to it in past interviews as a fight and not some verbal dance-off.
