Video edeting program

What is the best and easiest, free, video editing program?? I used to work with the windows movie maker on XP, but since I switched to Windows 7, I can't find it any more, and I hate the Windows 7 version.

Who has a good idea??

which is free but only works on linux. Also Kdenlive has a live dvd and virtualbox images if you don't have Linux.

If you want something user-friendly and simple, try Pinnacle Studio. Though most video editing software cost, so you should resort to torrents.
