Video Converting Software

Does anybody know any good Video Converting software. I have a few HD videos in M2TS and MP4 format that I would like to convert to WMV to put in Sony Vegas.. Since my Sony Vegas crashes every time I try to insert a M2TS file.

I've tried searching everywhere but I can't find a reliable program.

Any help please?

i dont use video convert much
and when i convert something i use Ultra MP4 Video Converter
though im not sure if that will help u out

Try Media Coder.
The only problem is you have to manually select every audio/video format, audio/video container etc. Also if you knowledge about the Encoder, you can select them manually. You can give it a try once.

I use AVS converter. Try that, but you need to pay for it, or you can get a cracked version..

Man I don't really know. I've even tried re installing it and M2TS files never work. Its a hassle when I record with my PVR then have to convert all the videos which take forever then put it in Sony Vegas.

Mhm, you are probably using Vegas Pro 9.0 right?

If you are using Sony Vegas 8, I suggest you get 9.0 Pro or 10 Pro (Youtube etc, I think you get me). You should also try to re-install vegas, so delete it and delete every folder in the setup directory aswell and then re-install it, I know it's a hassle but maybe it will fix it. Also, get the newest Microsoft .NET Framework - Maybe it will help.

Not Pro. But yeah I'm using Vegas 9.0
