Video Card Help

Hey guys im not good with computers so i need a little advice on installing a video card, is there anything i need to do beside just plug it up and install the disc, i will have the card on thursday so any advice by then would be awesome.

So you need help installing it?
Make sure you check bios to see if PCI is activated or on etc.

it just says PCI express 2.0

What you stated in your first post is basically what you need to do.

Step #1- Uninstall current Video card drivers.
Step #2- Remove old video card
Step #3- Install new video card
Step #4 install new video card drivers. Preferably the most current from their website.

Also make sure the slots are all fitted correctly. PCI 2.0 express and a PCI 2.0 express if you want good performance.

I hope you have the correct slots on your mobo for your card. Cause that would suck. If you have carpet wear shows or ground yourself first.
