[Discussion] Vice Admirals

So in the current arc we get introduced to the new admirals, but mostly Fujitora who seems pretty OP considering his DF and ease of his use of that DF like throwing down meteors and levitating his ship while he was lazily eating ramen.

This guy gets ranked among the strongest of the admirals we have seen so far and only a year or two ago he was a vice admiral. I think with his age, it doesnt seem he could get that much stronger in the year or two than he already was.

Considering all of this, wouldnt you think that the Navy have at least 5 or more guys that are admiral level that are vice admirals currently? Like they replaced two admirals like it was nothing with guys that are pretty similar in level.

I think we underestimate the vice admirals when it was anyone but garp, and we should consider that the navy doesnt just have 4 admiral level/tier people but probably somewhere like 10 and maybe stretching it to 15

Do you guys agree/disagree? This is mainly to discuss the marine's power

maybe he just recently got his DF and akainu helped train him in using it which is why he got so strong and why doffy asked what the new commander had taught him when he brought down the meteor

I dont see any character mastering his/her devil fruit in 1 or 2 years even under Akainu. Every character we have seen with a Devil Fruit took them 10+ years to master it. Even Crocodile said it takes a lot of time to properly train the power and you dont just get the DF and are super good with it in a short time

i don't think so, i think some admirals are way stronger than others but not 10 admiral level guys.

well we dont know that he has it mastered. his power is gravity so its already OP lifting a ship isnt that big of a deal seeing as we have ships getting wrecked all the time. and the meteor attack was clearly taught to him by akainu seeing as doffy knew about it and immediately brought up akainu

I seem to remember Doffy saying something abt a world wide conscription so Fuji and Ryok cld have been civilians 2yrs ago or had other affilities that arent the Marines.

We don't know his past yet. We don't know if he was a vice-admiral pre-skip. Fujitora looks kinda old so it could be that he was an admiral before Akainu, Aokiji and Kizaru. But the 3 replaced him because they were younger and in their prime. Now that 2 admirals have left he's the first guy they turned to in order to fill a spot. That might be why he's always saying "i'm just testing my strength". He hasn't been in a fight in a long time. << just a theory that i don't agree with lol. Just felt like mentioning.

But we don't know anything about him yet.

He was never vice admiral. Fujitora was drafted to Admiral position during the draft that happened after the marine ford war

fujitora was never VA. However, the current VA's right now after two years some of them must be admiral tier by now, excluding the giants... they are fodder VA's. Im talkin about the mexican lookin, goro lookin, and momonga etc. The only thing missing from them is a hax df. I believe they dont have df's ... just haki and sword. much like zoro.

He was never a VA. He was recruited during the timeskip. The same goes for Green Bull.
