It's sad to lose characters in an anime but it also creates an emotional attachment to the series.
Besides fodder and a few other characters, everyone has been continuously winning.
I didn't expect the whole war to be so one-sided. I mean, the shinobi alliance should've had more losses to make the war practical and more sad.
Last war which we didn't even see in Naruto, caused way more sadness in narutoverse than this one.
This war fails to create a fear of losing the war.
I would've found it really cool if one division lost and madara and obito summoned the Juubi right next to the Shinobi alliance HQ :snick:
