Well what I know about Taijutsu is that it is used for close hand to hand combat. It's is the incorporations of Martial Arts. I think there are a few ways in which you can use Taijutsu, one is using chakra, manipulating it to enhance your attackes etc, then you have people who lack the ability to mold chakra alone, making them capable of only using physical abilities like Lee. Though both are different, they both contain techniques that can shatter stones or provide impressive speed enhancements.

Three characters stick out to me when I hear or read the word "Taijutsu". Those the are Rock Lee, Might Guy and Kimimaro. All have exceptional skills if not the best in the Narutoverse.

Even though they use taijutsu in manners that defy the laws of science and physics, there is some realism in it. Besides the outrageous boosts of energy and supernatural sources of power, taijutsu all boils down to the basic movements. Consisting of momentum, force, velocity, flow and several others. Merging these very basic elements into one gives the user the ability to perform basic movement skills. Furthering in on this or going a little more in depth, the user is able to increase the strength and speed by applying a larger amount of these key elements. With chakra added into the mix, or more honed training skills, you can achieve a form or state of being that can perform these movements with utter ease.

Taking into consideration that this isn't your everyday, run of the mill life, certain things involved or used in combination with these key things provide a power beyond imagine. (Speaking RP wise of course)

Also, while training in taijutsu the user is able to improve strength, speed, and stamina. These are major factors in taijutsu and can give better results. For example if you take an average person who has just done martial arts training once a week for a few hours (in the narutoverse) and pit them against someone who has shed tears, sweat and blood to achieve the maximum potential their body is ultimately capable of, then the victor will be obvious. Due to the over stimulation and use of your muscular system, taijutsu techniques can be dangerous on the body, putting it under constant pressure and causing recoil damage. With enough training these type of things can be dulled down or removed completely giving you the optimum results in battle.

Understanding taijutsu and learning about taijutsu are one in the same. Having no knowledge of how to use the power accurately will show results dwindling on the brink of weakness. By completely understanding your own body and the flow in which your body moves at, the user is able to achieve much more power, speed and stamina in turn.

I think I covered the basics. Of well, what I know in my own head, or what I think it is >_>

Eight Inner Gates, I know literally zilch about this topic but I'll give it a go from what I've seen and read. Ahm well basically to me they're states in which the user can achieve by removing their chakra points (best way i can describe this) which act as filters. By removing these so called filters, the chakra flows freely giving abilities that are uncomprehendingly powerful. Due to the vast power flowing through you or the user, the chakra circuits, tunnels, whatever feed your body energy in large amounts, boosting your capabilities 10 fold and pushing your body past its natural limits.

Due to the overwhelming increase in chakra flow, your body goes into a sort of withdrawal state taking recoil damage that can rip your muscles instantaneously. (Rip as in you know). The more inner gates which are opened, released or de-filtered, the stronger the power increase, but in saying this the drawbacks also get more intense. This could leave you tired and in pain, put you in hospital for several days/weeks, or ultimately taking your life if the vessel (you) isn't able to withstand the constant thrashing of damage dealt back to you. It is also said that the release of the final gate, The Gate of Death, the user is doomed to die.

The eight inner gates are all named, The Gate of Opening, Gate of Healing, Gate of Life, Gate of Pain, Gate of Limit, Gate of View, Gate of wonder and finally the gate of death. Each enhance the body in their own way, giving abilities that can range from speed, strength or completely removing the threshold on your body and pushing it to breaking point.

I'm not going to lie, I only knew the name of the last gate >_>

You know way more then you think.

There you go, for more information. But I think we can start now. ^^

---

So trying out a new method of training that was suggested by one of the other students, you can be the second test!

So idea is simple, I will post the techniques and I will ask you to analyse them for me, for example: how to use it in battle, how to counter it, what is good about this technique (pros), what is bad about it (cons), what you like about it and etc. I think you pretty much get what I mean. The "How to perform" - part is a bit, not needed for, but you are more than welcome to perform it, if you don't understand the technique. It's better if we focus on the important things, like actually analysing the whole technique and knowing how to use it in a fight. Only filling the template is boring and sometimes not fun. I want to make this training as enjoyable as I can, I know templates can be boring as shit

Something below are basic guidelines to use:

Example of points for every ninjutsu technique
+ How to be used in a battle
+ How to be countered in a battle
+ Some advantages and disadvantages
+ Your personal opinion about the technique

But do tell me if you prefer this method, or the template; if it is the template you prefer we will go back do that. I do not mind either way.

Do you have any questions about method?

--

So let's start with the first technique of Taijutsu.

(Sennen Goroshi) - 1000 Years Of Death
Rank: E
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 5 (apply damage cost for kunai and explosives separately if either or both are used with this jutsu)
Description: The user makes the sign of the tiger and force able punches it into the enemy's behind.

So analyse this technique for me. I will obviously once you reply and whatnot, also share my own knowledge about the technique, but lets see how you do first!

Personal thoughts about the jutsu:

I'm just making this post for a reference, or to use as a template.

How it can be used in battle:
Due to the nature of attack, I doubt it could be used as competitively as others. This is more of a diversion of sorts so using it in battle would probably work best with a clone because putting yourself in immediate danger for such a whimsy technique would be stupid.

How to counter:
Depends on the way it's used. If you're caught by surprise then I guess it can't be helped unless you have some sort of sensory based technique in play or are of a doujutsu lineage.

Advantages and disadvantages:
Advantages? Probably the fact that it causes damage, and is an extremely off putting maneuver. Disadvantages would more than likely lie within the defense of this. Such a weak attack that puts you in danger, and also in a stupid position.

Personal thoughts about the jutsu:
I wouldn't even use this in battle. It's on the borders of making me want to kill myself. Seriously, ugh.

You don't have to use a template, you know? But if using a template makes it easier, and more fun for you; go right ahead. u.u

It only does damage, if used with a kunai, if done with just your hands, it doesn't do any damage. This technique is merely a gimmicky based technique, just a funny one.

Now same as you I wouldn't use this technique, I would probably only use it if I was toying with my target, but I would never use it seriously. You pretty much covered everything for this simple technique.

(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest

Such a simple technique, but such a nice technique. But this can really be done in freeform.

Ah finally, something a little more serious. And yes, I prefer a template xD

How it can be used in battle:
Well in my eyes, something simple like this could be a good diversion or beginning strike to a flurry of physical assaults.

How to counter:
Using a parry or something, forcing them to continue through with the momentum and become open.

Advantages and disadvantages:
Advantages would probably be what was mentioned, a quick and simple combo starter where as the disadvantages would be more along the lines of how bluntly predictive this move would be.

Personal thoughts about the jutsu:
I like this, I can see me using this in several ways already.

Okay if you want. :p

Yeah, I like this technique for how simply it is, can be used with many other techniques; it's just an overall simple and nice technique, + it so low rank.

(Dainamikku Entori) - Dynamic Entry
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A
Damage Points:10
Description:A taijutsu attack were the user does a jumping kick into the opponents face.

And, now one of the most well known technique, I actually quite like this, so much I used it in my sensei test. Of all taijutsu techniques, I didn't think I would use this one, but I did.

How it can be used in battle:
Lulz seriously this makes me laugh. Using this in battle is simple, you wait for an opening and go for gold.

How to counter:
Using a parry or something, forcing them to continue through with the momentum and become open. (Same as before)

Advantages and disadvantages:
Advantages would probably be what was mentioned, a quick and simple combo starter where as the disadvantages are a little more severe. Once you leave the ground, you're pretty much completely vulnerable.

Personal thoughts about the jutsu:
It would be weird using this in a battle but as you know I work with these type of techniques, it's all about creating an opening and striking with lower vulnerabilities.

Yep, this technique you need an opening for; it wouldn't be wise just to use it, and use it while your target is expecting you. Not a smart idea.

(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:10
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.

This the technique Lee used against Naruto back in the day, very handy technique; obviously only handy when within close range.

Okay so let's give this ago like discussed.

I get hop into a stance and slightly rotate my upper body. As I twist the lower half of myself while raising a leg, I use the tension of my pre twisted upper torso to propel me around in a quicker manner. This causes a noticeable change in momentum, applied with the life of the kick. Right before my foot connects with your clone (I created your clone), I leap just under an inch from the ground, not enough to be noticeable or effect my balance. As the foot makes contact the weight of my body from the slight lift off the ground adds a large force created by gravity. This cause you to fly away off into the sunset, ever so elegantly like a frail chicken.

These techniques are all super simple, all I want you to do is perform them. Ignore the template for now.

(Kodzuku) Punch
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.

(Hirateuchi) Slap
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.

(Kikku) Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.

(Fōringu Hōyō) Falling Embrace
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user runs at the enemy and tackles them, slamming them into the earth.

Kodzuku
I clinch my fist and draw it back as the upper half of my torso twists slightly. As I throw the punch, I let my body unwind and have my should lean in towards the punch simultaneously with the swing and motion. The momentum would have picked up slightly and made more of an impact if there was something to hit.

Hirateuchi
My palm tenses as it flings open. I continue by doing a motion with my torso similar to the previous punch except less dramatic and not as much. This will allow more speed to gather between the target and my hand, almost like a flicking sensation. With that said I release and send my hand flying in a slapping motion.

Kikku
Performing the same body twist with less force allows the body to pick up momentum without having to unwind. The leg lifts high and straight, roughly chest height. After the propulsion of the leg, I let my bodies gathered momentum twist my foot touching the ground, adding more force to the simple kick.

Foringu Hoyo
I create a clone myself and run towards it, however when I grow closer I drive my back foot with as much force as I can muster as I descend downwards, my shoulder roughly the height of the clones thigh. As my shoulder makes impact my arms have clung to the target and my momentum plus weight should be more than enough to make said target fall.

I don't think I'm getting the concept of this too well. I don't know whether I'm doing the techniques right or wrong or if I'm even writing them how you want it done. Feed back naf! Feeeedddback.

No you're doing it perfectly fine. Your eye for detail is spot on.

(Konoha Senpū) - Leaf Hurricane
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 10
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.

Just a lot of high and low kicks.

I thought Konoha Senpu was a 360 roundhouse kick >_> Therefore I don't exactly understand this technique lol

Konoha Senpū
I bring my leg up, whipping it on an angle that is moving diagonally up and outwards from my body to perform a high kick. The moment it connects, I use the momentum to hoist my opposing leg up for a low kick while my other simultaneously drops to the ground.

Look I have no idea what this is.

Pretty much you kick them in the head as they fall, you kick them with a low kick in the ribcage.

This will probably help.

Now to introduce a new aspect to training: Feints. In Theory, feints are quite effective, getting the foe to think you are doing something when you intend to do another thing completely. You 'fake' swing one way and once they take the bait and either try to attack that incoming limb or defend against a blow from that side, you switch up and come from the other side, catching them off guard. On the RP, it doesn't exactly work like that because they see everything you say you are going to do that turn, but that's another discussion for another time.
