I know that Whis is his master but I just don't know how you're not amazed enough by Lord Beerus's power to think that another being is stronger than him. He defeated a prime SSJ3 Goku like child's play. You can't even fathom in the slightest how inconceivable that feat is. Like I said, it's not all about Power Levels that determine who wins. Simple answer, Vegeta beats Nail because he's a Saiyan. Nail is not classed as a Super Namekian. Canon wise, Piccolo is the only Super Namekian, therefore he is the only one of their race that can rival a Saiyan. End of story.

Lets see what powers only saiyans have

1. Zenkai
2. Ape Form
3. Super Saiyan Forms

Zenkai isn't going to help Vegeta in this fight unless Nail randomly decides to let Vegeta fully heal up. The Vegeta in this match has no tail, so Ape Form is out of the picture. Vegeta does not have SS yet so that's useless

Meanwhile, Nail has regeneration, which he can actually use in the middle of a fight. Unlike Vegeta who cant use any of these 3 in the middle of the battle(since he didn't have access to SS yet). So your point about Vegeta winning just because he is a Saiyan is wrong.
