I know that Whis is his master but I just don't know how you're not amazed enough by Lord Beerus's power to think that another being is stronger than him. He defeated a prime SSJ3 Goku like child's play. You can't even fathom in the slightest how inconceivable that feat is. Like I said, it's not all about Power Levels that determine who wins. Simple answer, Vegeta beats Nail because he's a Saiyan. Nail is not classed as a Super Namekian. Canon wise, Piccolo is the only Super Namekian, therefore he is the only one of their race that can rival a Saiyan. End of story.

Lets see what powers only saiyans have
1. Zenkai
2. Ape Form
3. Super Saiyan Forms
Zenkai isn't going to help Vegeta in this fight unless Nail randomly decides to let Vegeta fully heal up. The Vegeta in this match has no tail, so Ape Form is out of the picture. Vegeta does not have SS yet so that's useless
Meanwhile, Nail has regeneration, which he can actually use in the middle of a fight. Unlike Vegeta who cant use any of these 3 in the middle of the battle(since he didn't have access to SS yet). So your point about Vegeta winning just because he is a Saiyan is wrong.
What bollocks! Beerus himself and Akira Toriyama said that Whis is the stronger of the two.

Only, Saiyans rapidly increase in strength as they fight against strong opponents, so the longer they fought, the more that gap would shrink, and it might even be possible for them to eventually turn the tables. Incidentally, I guess Whis would be about a 15.

Saiyans get stronger when they fight strong opponents so a Zenkai would be irrelevant to use against someone like Nail. Vegeta easily wins this. Again, you wouldn't say that if you knew how impressive that Lord Beerus > SSJ3 Goku feat was. You would say that Lord Beerus is the king and can't be beaten. Until we see Whis in action and him showing a better feat than that which will be impossible to do unless he somehow defeats someone like SSJG Gogeta, then always Lord Beerus will be the strongest anime character ever created.
Keep dreaming, because i actually know the series true power unlike clueless fans like you. Accept it, Vegeta would crush Nail.

Nail's got the stronger power level, and at that point in the series a few thousand PL's made quite the difference.
