I know this is a old topic, but quite an interesting one.

- Why do you think he is never shown fully?

Think about it, the guy who created "sea prism handcuffs, sea prism bullets, weapons, so forth", and documented all devil fruit. Why is this man never shown?

Its good that we see a bit of him, and listened to his voice but yeah. I wanna know more about this guy. He seems nice, and sensible unlike Ceasar the crackhead XD

Maybe a bit like Kaidou
We know of him and have for MANY chapters. And yet we've never seen him : he will have a gigantic influence in the new world and I can see him as a Cyborg similar to Franky. Maybe he is related to Luffy. Maybe he's a D? Maybe he is privelaged enough to know the history of the void century? I think he will be a MAJOR character after Kaidou meets his end...

I know this sounds crazy but.... I just got struck by this idea....

Dr. Vegapunk -

1.Considered a genius.... It's said it will take like 500 years for other scientists to reach his level of technology....

2.Turned Kumo into a weapon for The WG.... Still.... For Luffy he programmed a mission in Kumo to protect Staw Hat's Ship Sunny on Kumo's request....

3.Turned Kumo into a weapon by erasing Kumo's conscience.... He probably must have known Kumo was a member of The Rev Army while removing his conscience by studying Kumo's conscience before erasing it....

This is my Theory about Dr. Vegapunk -

1.Vegapunk is one of The "D's".... Vegapunk was born and brought up on Raftel where some of The D's live secretly and have advanced technology.... We know The Ancient Kingdom was advanced in Technology....

2.Even though the D's on Raftel have the Ancient Kingdom's advanced technology.... There is still some important info/technology missing which is probably with The WG.... That's why Vegapunk joined The WG to get it back....

3.I think this important info/technology that Vegapunk wants to get back from the WG is important to defeat The WG....

4.Vegapunk didn't have it during Roger's time.... So Roger Pirates couldn't do much against The WG inspite of knowing everything about The Void Century.... Also that's why Rayleigh told Robin,
"Even if I tell you everything about The Void Century.... You can't do a thing right now...."

5.Vegapunk choose a "D".... i.e. Dragon to Lead The Rev Army from the front lines.... While Vegapunk who is Dragon's Mentor leads The Rev Army from the shadows....

What do you think guys..?? It's just a Theory.... Hope you enjoyed it....

He's probably being hidden for his full introduction for starters, but also probably because it could reveal stuff... For example were he a.Cyborg...

He'll likely have an important role.... Especially for Franky.

I think Oda is leaving him for an arc, and might forshadow him in the further arcs.

I read an almost bullet proof theory that he is a 'D' and he was sent from the true originators of the 'D' (the moon people of 800+ years ago) from Raftel.

(I'll be more specific once I find more detail on that >.>)

But aside from that, I theorize he'll have a whole arc to himself later in the future (after the 2nd TS where space is utmost relevant.

yea when I heard him in last nights episode, it really gote interested. He's deffinitely going to have an arc of his own, though he doesn't look like an evil guy.

Probably because he is going to be a very relevant character to the series later.
I mean, he is the WGS similar to the WSS title I guess (obviously not in terms of power).

Well he must be nice considering he works for the Government and listened to Kuma's command to protect the SH's ship...unless... he's a double agent like Kuma and is working under the revolutionaries! :O
