Kushina was chosen because she is an uzumaki. No senju even in the past was revealed to be jinchiirukis.
Also have you forgotten that tailed beast chakras are famous as malevolent energies? Even tailed beast are considered pure of hatred!
This is why every jinchiirukis go rage mode when they access their tailed beast chakra.
The higher chakra a tailed beast possess, the harder it is to control or take possession of its power.
It is hard to tame kurama because you need a strong chakra to be able to win the tug of war against the kyubis.
Naruto was able to do it because kurama is only 1/2 power and he had Kushinas chain to subdue the beast.
Normal jinchiirukis like bee wouldn't be able to tame kurama either. Only an Uzumaki can.

No Uzumaki has been called a God Of Shinobi. Unlike SENJU Hashirama.
And also, the perfect Jin wasn't a Uzumaki but instead Killer B a ninja from Kumo.

No Senju has ever been a Jinchuriki, so you can't say if they can be on or not.

saying that the sage awakened the rinnegan after becoming the juubi's jinchuuriki is like saying madara is as strong as the sage without him being the juubi's jinchuuriki since madara already has it, and what's going to happen if madara becomes the juubi's jinchuuriki if he already has the rinnegan?the sage also used chibaku tensei on the juubi's body after he split apart the juubi's chakra
the juubi's eyes is obviously not the rinnegan but a giant red sharingan with a bunch of tomoes
