Uzumaki is the Branch family of Uchiha

So I have been thinking about the relationship between Uzumaki Uchiha and Senju.
According to Madara the Sage of the 6 paths had two sons that quarelled with eachother. They were the Senju and Uchiha ancestors.
However Naruto is not a Senjuclan member but according to Kushina Senju the Uzumaki had very close ties to eachother and had very distant relatives.
Anyways. I dont think that Uzumaki are another clan descending from the Senju ancestor otherwise Madara would have said so. We know that Madara have underestimated the Uzumakiclan until Naruto defeated Pain. If he saw them as a big threat for being related to the Senju he would have tried to capture Naruto earlier.

So my theory is that Uzumaki does not derive from Senju but from Uchiha they have many similarites. The names are similair. And the Uchiha ancestors eyes are the same as the Uzumaki crest and the symbol for sealing jutsus you can compare them at Narupedia.
Itachi also mentioned when explaining the Mangekyo sharingan that the user of the eyes eventually ends up "sealing" their own eyes lossing its light.

In the Hyuuga clan there were to houses of the clan, one was supposed to protect the main one. Since the Uzumaki is connected to protection (The konoha vests, Jinchuurikis etc) It could have been something similair. Anyways the Uzumaki were probably the ones that did not awaken their Sharingan. As you know some uchiha members awaken it earlier and are better at using it. So the ones that didnt awaken it eventually were sorted out since the Uchiha is a powerhungry clan and they became a clan of their own focusing on sealing jutsus and helping the Senju. They could also have been different because they didnt have the same values as the Uchiha. We know not all Uchiha are evil so some could have supported the Senju.

Naruto also sees Sasuke as his brother, Nagato and Itachi seemed to get along pretty well, and Kushina and Sasukes mother also got along well. In the picture of Hashirama and the Uzumaki leader they seem pretty cold and Naruto and Tsunade never gets along that well. So I think this indicates that Uchiha and Uzumaki are closely related clans while the Uzumaki are distantly related to Senju.

I agree partially to your theory. The only difference is that I think that the Uzumaki clan is somehow related to BOTH the Senju and the Uchiha. I also think that the SO6P was from the Uzumaki clan (since we don't know a lot about either one).

I wouldnt say they were the branch family but they derived from them and not from Senju otherwise they would have been closer to Senju but actually they have been much closer to Uchiha. Mito married a Senju guy why would she do that if they are close relatives?
The only connection we know was that they had their crest on the Konohamark as a sign of good faith but that was not for Senju but for konoha which Uchiha was equal part of.

uzumaki is the forefather clan .so6p was uzumaki .uchiha and senju are his descendant clans .this makes more sense.rinnegan descended to ms and sharingan which further descended to byakugan .uzumaki motto is to protect everything.while senju and uchiha fight over leadership.

In your entire post there wasn't a single legitimate reason to think that the Uzumaki are related to the Uchiha.

Kushina herself states that the Uzumaki were blood relatives of the Senju. After that fact, you think they exact opposite is true? Doesn't make a shred of sense whatsoever

That's a lot of thinking you got there.
Well Uzumaki and Uchiha started with letter "U" doesn't add the mere fact their related besides their meanings are different.
If you'll think about the ancestors of Uzumaki and Uchiha I think they're not related. Uchiha and Senju are the sons of SO6P and Uzumaki is only a branch of Senju.

Its an interesting theory. I think its a bit unlikely though, but still interesting.

This reminded me of something I also noticed some time ago. Madara implied that having a lots of chakra results in longevity. And the Uzumaki is known for longetivity. So, maybe the members of the Uzumaki clan had powerful chakra resulting in longevity. And:

The older son, who inherited
the Sage's "eyes"
his powerful chakra
spiritual energy

The younger son, who inherited:
the Sage's "body"
his powerful will
physical energy

The point is that it seems like the Uzumaki inherited their chakra from the Older Son who is also the ancestors of the Uchiha. It could be that the Uzumaki is related to both the Uchiha and Senju and would explain why Nagato was capable of activating the rinnegan(with Madara merely setting the stage so this may happen).

Like I said at the start of this post, this is a bit of a long stretch. And I'll still be very surprised if Naruto were to activate the rinnegan during some sort of emotional trauma or something.

The Uzumaki are equally related to both Uchiha and the Senju, now the Uzumaki Philosophy is closer to the Senju, thats way they had friendly relations with them and not the Uchiha. Fact Their were no Senju or Uchiha when the SO6P was alive, they came to being long after that, but theirs no evidence for or against the Uzumaki having existed at the time of the SO6P,The Uzumaki could be the clan that gave rise to the SO6P and that could be that the Uchiha and the Senju were born of the Uzumaki. The SO6P might have ben an Uzumaki, but until the very end of Naruto we wont know either way.
