Uzumaki Karin is in love with Sasuke Uchiha.
Uzumaki Mito got married with Hashirama Senju.

It's hard to think that natural selection make Uzumaki love Sage's sons descendants , if they were that much close blood-wise.
How do you explain the ***-attraction between Uzumakis and descendants of the 2 sons of the SO6P?

The eyes were implanted into Nagato, it's not like he awakened the power himself. Still he couldn't use the true power of the Rinnegan as the SO6P did. The Uzumaki life force is one of the strongest of all clans, since they were closely related to the Senju it would make sense that they are able to harness some of the power.

What makes him senju like is the fact that their related.

uzumaki are known for having strong psychical bodies like the senju.

But,the uzumaki also have a strong vitality that lets them live unusually long.

Which the senju do not have.

Any way uzumakis cant be the direct descent of SO6P. Its been clearly stated in manga that senju and uchiha were direct descendent of the hermit sage. So there must be something special abt uzumakis rather than genes. Just like something special that made killer bee a successful jinchurriki.

Anyway i already or should i say kishi already explicitly stated you need the progenitor gene to have the rinnegan.
I will not waste my time repeating what makes up a progenitor gene (You didn't read the thread so that is your loss)
And we know obito sought nagato.Because he was related to the senju,because you need the right dna.

If you do not have the correct genes you cannot/sustain or awaken the rinnegan.

Let me cut you off here because i know your going to say something about the sharingan and once again it is not progenitor gene there is no specific make up to awaken the sharingan other then being a uchiha.

It is a self sustained dojustu of the uchiha.

The rinnegan was the sages whose dna was split and therefore the rinengan needs that specific dna.

They just couldn't use chakra.People could still use and manipulate spirtual energy and perform super human like feats through their psychical energy.

And no the uchiha and senju are not direct descendants of the sage.

The direct descendants of the sage are the ancestors of both the uchiha and the senju.

And kishi only said the senju and uzumaki are distant relatives.
He never states that they are direct descendants of the senju or even descendants period.
