Other times, it referees to body flicker as teleporting. It's impossible to know, but I suspect the fact teleporting is mentioned specifically would imply something special, and not something Naruto's had for a while now, which is why I think he has FTG.

I forgot to add this, but having Rikkudo senjutsu also increases the chance he learned it as it gives universal comprehension of chakra with the skill of a well-studied highly sensitive master. If he trained for FTG, he could learn it pretty quickly.

I am pretty sure Hiraishin is refereed to just "Space-time" (Jutsu/Ninjutsu) if not referred to as by name, and Shunshin is referred to as Teleportation.

Flashback fight between Minato v Ay and Bee, Ay talks about countering Minato's shunshin no jutsu even though Minato was clearly using FTG as there were markings all over. Rin also called it teleportation. Fact is, there's no way of telling what Naruto used just from Bolt's words alone, because the translators have screwed this thing up too many times just like the time with Tobirama saying Minato's shunshin is better than his where people always debated this issue. We'll jus have to wait for the new season/series that's supposedly coming up to find out the real truth.

In my opinion, this is clearly an FTG. The fact that is is sudden from his office to bolt location, and the pinpoint landing on Bolt tells me he had mark bolt already.

I had thought that it was most likely just the Body Flicker, but this seems to confirm that what Naruto uses is not FTG.

Pretty much solves it for me. It was Body flicker not Ftg. The fact that Naruto's speed feats have improved throughout the manga should be enough.

Also we dont know how long it took actually. Yes he appeared on the next page but that doesnt mean no time passed.

Team 7 were at the VOTE and then the next page they were back at the battlefield to stop IT.

Naruto and Sasuke got to the VOTE in one page. Their speed feats have shown that they have godly speed even in base. It was body flicker not ftg

Doubt it's the actual FTG, since there are no markings shown [But there is a possibility he could've marked his son]..

It can be a normal shunshin which will be seen as teleportation by a kid like Bolt...

P.S. There's not much distance between Hokage faces and office, when compared to Naruto/Sasuke sprinting towards VOTE [10+ years ago]

Really this thread , again ? Last night one was closed . It is simple , when someone in the manga says Shuunshin , VIZ say Teleportations , and when somesay FTG , VIZ says Hiraishin , Flying Raijin . In the manga they said Shuunshin , so VIZ said Teleportation , which is not FTG and stop trying to prove it was FTG , because you can't , the only way is to wait till the next spring and hope that kishi will reveal it in the mini - series .

The other side to this is that, if the Hokage's residence is remains right outside the monument, then it's plausible that Naruto used Hiraishin to get to the top of the monument [Although he previously used body flicker to get to Kaguya].

I wouldn't be surprised if Kishimoto eventually revealed in the movie that Naruto learned Hiraishin.

But again, arguing he possesses it with this kind of evidence is a weak position.

The scan you posted proves it was body flicker and not ftg. Just look at the movement lines behind and around Naruto. He clearly moved at high speed.
