I see you're here to learn Katon. Naturally i have to check your knowledge first. Tell me all you can about fire release. Try and include its uses, forms, elemental strengths and weaknesses, related Kekkei Genkai, and possible results when mixed with other elements such as Earth.

Fire release aka Katon is the act of applying nature manipulation to ones own chakra so that it mimics Fire in all aspects. Katon comes in many forms such as a flamethrower like, a fireball, or even shuriken covered in fire.
Katon has the advantage over fuuton because it feeds off of air. They can also be used in unison to make even stronger jutsu. Doton projectiles can also be lit on fire to make for a stronger jutsu as Hiruzen, The Third Hokage, showed. Katon is weak to Suiton because water extinguishes fire. That creates steam which can be used as a cover up. Katons that are strong enough(A ranked) can create thunderstorms that make jutsu like Kirin usable.
Lava, Scorch, Boil, and Dust are made up of Katon and other elements. The Uchiha clan also have a natural affinity for Katon. Some who have the Mangekyo Sharingan can use Amaterasu, a black flame that takes several days to extinguish. Blaze release is the manipulation of that black flame.

The first jutsu is a simple fireball. Since you've never molded katon chakra before try acquiring a strong mental image of the nature of fire (a description of fire's characteristics) and mold a portion of your chakra to mimic that nature. Then focus katon chakra into your lungs and exhale it in the form of a small fireball at a dummy nearby.

The Tsuchikage enters and meditative state and starts to imagine fire. He feels the intense heat and see bright plasma flow upwards and defy gravity. With the picture of fire in mind, The Tsuchikage start to mold and gather chakra into a form that mimics fire. He then gathers this katon chakra in his lungs and exhales it through his mouth in the form of a small fireball at his Senpai's clone.

Good job. I'll increase the number a little. For the next jutsu exhale several small fireballs at your target in one breath. Nothing to it. Burn a few dummies nearby.

Sasuke Uchiha then pops out of the bushes. Hello there. I am Sasuke Uchiha. You will train me now. I've been listening and know everything he knows about Katon. Questions? No? Okay then.
With introductions out the way, Sasuke starts to remember the sensations he felt when doing the Small Fire technique. He then inhales. Before exhaling he applies shape manipulation to the katon and shapes it into multiple small fireballs. He then exhales and releases the fireball at a nearby dummy.
After successfully doing the katon jutsu, Sasuke pulls out 4 shuriken in each of his hands. He then starts to gather and mold katon chakra and transfer it into the Shuriken. He then throws the shuriken at the dummies. While on their way to the dummy, Sasuke causing them to ignite via mental command.
Hmph. Learning Katons comes natural to that of the Uchiha Clan. :sasuke:

Sure, that happens. 0^0 Here's something a bit different. Perform the Snake, Ram, Monkey, and Tiger handseals before exhaling flammable gas at your target instead of fire. Ignite the gas with a fire jutsu to create a large fireball and set him ablaze. Find a dummy nearby.

Okay then. Sasuke starts weaving the handseals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger and start molding katon chakra in his lungs. Instead of mimicking the effects of flames this time, his katon chakra takes the form of a flammable gas. He then exhales the flammable gas toward one your dummies. While the gas consumes the dummy, I perform Fire Release: Blazing Shuriken Dance and throws a shuriken into the gas. Through a mental command I have the shuriken ignite which then ignites the gas causing the clone to consumed by flames.
Next I start gathering katon chakra into both of my hands. I then start punching your dummy. It experiences burns with every punch. Afterwards I gather katon chakra in my lungs. The chakra takes on the forms of flames. I then exhale the flames through my mouth at a dummy. While doing so I apply shape manipulation to the flames so that they exit my mouth as sphere of flames. The fireballs hit their mark and ignite the dummy into the flames. Finally I go through the same process again but do not use shape manipulation. I then fire a stream of flames toward your last dummy.
Next I start gathering katon chakra into both of my hands. I then start punching your dummy. It experiences burns with every punch. Afterwards I gather katon chakra in my lungs. You got it. About time we started doing sets of 3 jutsu. I'll also introduce new targets, the Six Paths of Pein. Now simply exhale a small, quick stream of flame at your target. Try it out.

For this jutsu, simply throw a lighter with a open flame and focus katon chakra on it, making the flame expand into a defensive wall of flame. Take this and block my attack.

Next Sasuke performs the hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, inhales air, ignites it with Katon chakra and exhales it through a ring made by the thumb and index finger in the form of a stream at one of the paths. Because the Katon jutsu isnt condensed, the flames consume he target. Not wasting any time performs the same set of handseals, inhales air, ignites it, and exhales it through a ring made by the thumb and index finger. This time through the use of shape transformation, the katon is exhaled as a gigantic ball of fire at the path. Upon impact, an explosion occurs. Now goes through the same notions, but this time he exhales a smaller fireball at the path.
Next Sasuke catches the lighter thrown to him by his sensei and signals him to throw the kunai at him. Sasuke then throws the activated lighter in response to his sensei throwing kunai at him and uses his Katon chakra to manioulate the existing flame into a wall of flames. The wall blocks the kunais.

Excellent. Here's a jutsu that comes in two forms, a burning trap and a projectile. After performing the Tiger handseal produce and manipulate fire streams running across the ground. They should surround the target in the form of a circle preventing escape. Alternately, with the same Tiger handeal, a fire stream can be exhaled and manipulated to form a ring-shaped fireball. Use both forms on this guy. Can't have my dinner getting away.

( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire

The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).
Next, attach a long cord-like object to your target and perform the Snake, Dragon, Rabbit, and Tiger handseals. Then breathe fire along the cord causing the flames to rush toward and incinerate the target at the other end. The best method is to trap your target with ninja wire so it can't possibly miss its mark. Find a Pein around here.
( Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique

For this jutsu simply perform the Tiger handseal and exhale a fire stream. Nothing new. That guy looks cold.

With precise chakra control I direct the flames to encircle the giant crab, preventing it from moving anywhere without being harmed by the flames. Next I perform the tiger seal again and gather Katon chakra. Now I shoot the the katon from my mouth. This time I use shape manipulation to make the fire form into a ring as it leaves my mouth. The Katon hits its target and the flames roast the giant crab.

I then throw them at the naked pain body so that they wrap around the path, trap it, and restrict all movement. I then weave the tiger seal, and spew a powerful concussive fire stream down the cord to assault the path and effective warm it up.
The path however didnt look warm enough. So this time I weave the tiger seal and and exhale a large stream of katon breath at it.

In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.
Next, i want you to exhale a small wave of flames at your target and manipulate it to close in and wrap around your target like a cocoon, burning it all over. Find your next victim.

Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.
Next, i want you to exhale a small wave of flames at your target and manipulate it to close in and wrap around your target like a cocoon, burning it all over. Find your next victim.

Hiei weaves the hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger, gathers katon chakra in his lungs, and spews it out in a volley of fireballs. With my chakra manipulate their flight patterns in order to add a degree of unpredictability. Also at the time I shout the volley of fireballs I quickly but stealthely threw and inserted shuriken into each and every one of them. The jutsu hits its mark and the scorching hot shuriken seep into the pain corpses flesh.
Hiei jumps backwards at an upward angle while gathering katon in his lungs. He then shoots the katon at the taunting paths as they close in they wrap around the target effectively encasing them in a cocoon of flames.
Hiei again jumps backwards and upwards angel while gathering and molding katon chakra. This time he shoots the katon in a barrage of small fire shots downward at the paths.

Great, as expected. For the next jutsu, exhale a small fireball at your target. Pretty generic though this one brighter and capable of hitting further targets. Try hitting that.

Fire Dragon Flame Bullet melts the ground? So the ground turns to lava? If so then for how long?

I wouldn't call it lava but yeah. I'd say it last for a few minutes probably.

Hmm so this jutsu is superior to the fireball jutsu in just about every way besides the short range. Anyhow I gather Katon chakra in my lungs and expel it through my mouth in a similar fashion to the Great Fireball jutsu. The fireball is of similar size to the one created by the weaker jutsu but it has far more katon chakra packed into the same volume resulting in a denser and more powerful fireball. The fireball makes its way and collides with your doton defense and explodes on contact destroying it.
Question. Logically due to the momentum, direction of the attack, and omnidirection of the explosion could I say that the debris from your doton defense still hit you? Would that be okay in a battle? I assume my attack didnt incinerate the doton in its entirety as it is explosive.
Now onto the next jutsu. I weave the hand seals Horse → Tiger and gather katon chakra in my lungs before expelling it as a very large and dense, practically solid, ball of fire at the suicidal Pain path. The ball of fire carries the path off its feet, burning its exposed skins and clothes, before finally climaxing in a very large blazing explosion.
With great flame flower, if my jutsu math is correct a B ranked jutsu divided by 3 equals out to very powerful D ranks correct? Or is it weak C ranks? Nonetheless I jump into the air while gathering katon chakra in my lungs and expelling it out downward as 3 blasts of fire at the crab. The katons hit their mark at the same time and erupt as a giant blazing geyser on the Crab. The outside of the crab is clearly burned and black but the meat inside was somehow cooked to perfection.
