Looks: Ushiro has black hair and dark blue eyes. He face is usually expressionless unless he's overcome with rage or making fun of someone. He wears sunglasses and a black trench coat with various tools hidden inside. A bow is easily accessed from his back along with his case of arrows.
Personality: Ushiro is generally lazy and unmotivated like other members of his clan, but will be quick to act when it is necessary. He is a very logical and calculating person and also has an intellect rivaling Shikaku's. To others, this gives the impression that he has no emotions although he prefers not to display them. In battle, he tries to trap his opponents instead of killing them and while on a team he would devise a plan for them and take down his target after patiently waiting for the right moment.

Background History

Living in Konoha as a child Ushiro spent his days hanging out with his friends, hunting animals, and making random devices out of stray parts before his father suggested that he should become a ninja like other clan members. He enjoyed having an easy, carefree life and at first was against the idea of being forced to risk his life while killing people for a living. Later on Ushiro discovered that the duty of a ninja was to maintain order in the world and ensure the safety of the villagers. After hearing this he began to admire them and agreed to follow in the footsteps of his clansmen which he admitted was a fine way for life to be less dull and more entertaining. In no time at all Ushiro easily graduated from the ninja academy and eventually became a jonin at the age of 16. At this time he was well known for his skill with a bow that has been his weapon of choice for most the years he spent as a ninja. This, and being a member of the Nara clan, made Ushiro a perfect candidate to be one of Konoha's hunter-ninjas. Each year, Ushiro would travel to other hidden villages to learn new techniques in exchange for his services. He was especially fond of Kirigakure where he spent a lot of time training in water jutsu and techniques specialized by the hunter-ninja of their village. Now he temporarily resides in Amegakure to learn their unique rain element.

Wind: Ushiro has a natural affinity for wind that allows him to perform wind jutsu with less handseals but at least three. Slight changes in wind speed and direction can be noticed as well.
Water: Due to extensive training in Kirigakure he achieved mastery of the water element and can perform water jutsu with one handseal.
Shadows: After several years of practicing the Nara clan's shadow jutsu Ushiro can skillfully manipulate shadows with little effort.
Archery: Ushiro's skill with a bow is unmatched in shooting speed and accuracy, even at night. His honed visual perception and naturally perfect sight makes even flies easy targets for him. Essential for a hunter, he moves around silently and tracks the enemy based on slight movement and sounds, getting an estimation of where he is.
One of Ushiro's favorite techniques is the Shuriken Shadow Clone jutsu.

A bow called the Seeker of Darkness is kept on his back. Without it he has a regular bow with the same design and a small scroll to summon the other one. He carries a rectangular case filled with metal arrows that have various gimmicks including arrows that follow a curved path instead of strait, some that explode, and others that split apart into a net. His arrows can all be used with the Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique along with his other tools.
Other weapons he has are 2 tanto, a powerful crossbow, smoke bombs.

Description: This sacred bow has been passed down through generations of the Nara clan. It is pitch black with a bladed edge on the front of it and it made of lightweight but durable metal capable of having chakra channeled into it. It was said to have been originally white and gained its dark color by absorbing the chakra of its owners which in turn increases their skill in manipulating shadows. While in possesion of the bow the user's shadow jutsu won't require handseals. They can be "shot" from the bow or its shadow by drawing and releasing the bowstring. The speed of the jutsu shot is increased to that of a flying arrow and is allowed to reach long range. This bow also heightens the restricting ability of shadow jutsu. If a non-Nara clan member willingly touches the bow, he won't be able to move until he is separated from it.
