The Hufflepuff Potion is one of enhancement. By drinking it, the user's Mahou grows stronger, gaining a +20 increase in power while also gaining scorching hot properties if the spell releases a projectile of Mahou, such as Diffindo. The user's Mahou becomes so refined, they also gain the ability to use spells without their wands up to mid-range, but still following other requirements, such as incantations.

The Ravenclaw Potion is that of stealth. By consuming it, the user's chakra becomes undetectable even by sensors and Dojutsu, seemingly vanishing. Techniques that the user creates also become cloaked, making it excellent to perform sneak attacks.

The Gryffindor potion is one that offers great defense at the cost of offense. While it's in effect, every time the user performs a spell, they gain the ability to tank 20 more damage head-on from techniques that do so(Genjutsu or other techniques that don't strike the user will be subject to this). The cost is that the user's spells lose 20 damage when they are used. If the user is struck with less damage than they have amassed(for instance, if the user can tank 60 damage and is struck by a B-rank, they lose no defensive capabilities).

The Slytherin potion increases the user's physical capabilites, doubling their strength and granting them a +20 increase to Taijutsu. The user's body is reinforced by this power, gaining the ability to tank up to B-rank damage from physical jutsu, such as Earth and Water, but at the cost of taking +40 damage from energy-based attacks while it's in effect.

Taking a deep puff of his cigarette, John closed his eyes and lowered his face towards the ground slightly. His lips parted ways as he exhaled a grey cloud. "To stay one step ahead," John mutters, looking back at his teacher. "Legilimency is the ability to pull information from the minds of those around you. At its most simple stage, it lets you read their minds, picking up on whatever thoughts they happen to be having at the time. But a skilled Legilimens can reach into their minds and pull the information you need, exactly what you need. A power like that is a great benefit to someone with my...aspirations."

Eh I'd view it more like gaining a map to your opponents thoughts, memories and experiences overall. The lower stage giving you their current thoughts, while the full ability lets you see memories and much more. Their brain basically becomes your playground. Now try to atleast read the thoughts of that random fisherman over there

With another drag of his cigarette, John looks towards the fisherman. An old and rather grimy looking man with a thick grey beard. John shrugged, took a few steps forward, and began channeling his chakra. Within a moment's notice, John activates the Legilimency spell. Like a second voice in his head, the fisherman's thoughts came to John as clearly as though he were speaking them. John's face twisted in a blend of disgust and sympathy as the fisherman stared out at the water, his thoughts filled with sullen disappointment at where the course of his life had headed. Regret and sadness echoed throughout his thoughts. He lamented his hatred of being a fisherman, his thoughts drifting to his wife that ran off with a shinobi with his infant son, taking all of his money and his pig with her. "What a sad bastard," John mused.

Hmm. Now that you've unlocked your Legilimency, you'll start to passively hear direct thoughts of people in your immediate range. For someone as beautiful as me, you can only imagine how much disgust i hear daily. Anyway, DADA is the only thing left for you. I'm unable to teach that really so you're complete as far as training with me.

Impediment Jinx: - Supplementary

The Impediment Jinx ( Impedimenta ) is a jinx that renders a victim physically unable to move and halts moving objects. Appearing as a jet of scarlet light, the spell collides into an opponent and slams into them with great force and, without causing damage, is capable leaving the opponent unable to move. The effects are short lasting, however, never lasting more than a single turn, and can be countered by either preventing the charm from hitting the target or, once the effect triggers, overpowering it with raw physical power. The target can still mold chakra, however; its just that his muscles become unable to move.

Langslock: - Supplementary

Langlock is the incantation to a spell that causes one's tongue to affix to the roof of their mouth by using mahou itself to bind the tongue of the foe to the roof of their mouth. Invented for the sake of preventing someone from speaking aloud or even to prevent a spell from being cast, Langslock is a very useful spell that prevents the opponent from spewing jutsu from their mouth as well as using jutsu that require the mouth to make audible, clear sounds. This allows a wizard to counter another wizard by preventing them from speaking for a certain amount of time ( 4 turns ). Useable every 3 turns, this spell can be bested by a full body surge one rank higher than this one, requiring at least A rank chakra to break it.
So these are the two I'm able to teach. What is your view on them? What are some useful ways for them to be used for you personally?

The first one is similar to the Locomotor Mortis spell I learned before. Rather than preventing a target from moving their legs, it prevents movement completely, locking up all of the muscles of the body. Significant physical force can overpower this, needing at least A-rank I'd imagine due to the amount of chakra powering the spell equaling B-rank, or by avoiding the beam of scarlet that triggers the effects of the spell. It can be used to target people moving too fast for one to counter, or used to restrain them as the user themselves engages in Taijutsu to prevent counterattacking.

The second is similar to the first in a small way, locking the tongue to the roof of the mouth. This is used to prevent targets from spewing techniques from the mouth, such as fireballs or water streams, or even prevent other words from using spells should they require verbal incantations for it. I'd use it to counter Sound users, preventing techniques like Banshee especially.

Shield Charm - Defensive

The lowest level Shield Charm spell ( Protego ) creates an invisible shield appears where the caster's wand is pointed providing a protective barrier between themselves and their attacker. The shield itself does not give off light, but rather, the attack bouncing off of it and dispersing does. By moving their arm as if parrying an attack, the user is able to create a shield in between them and the target, creating an unbreakable shield, blocking jutsu of equal chakra and lower. The higher ranked a member is, he is able to perform this with increased speed, Full Wizards creating it in such speed that it's able to deflect even throw kunais from short range. Lasting until overpowered or ended by the user, the Shield Charm requires an additional 10 chakra per turn to keep up while preventing the user from using any other spells in that same time. After ending, the user cannot use it for 2 turns.
A Defensive spell, this is ideal for a quick defense when needed. You raise your wand and point it in a direction and an invisible barrier is created. When something hits it, a faint light shines, signifying it's there. When you hit Year 6, it's done which such speed that even kunai thrown at you in short range can be blocked. Lasting until it gets overpowered, you can continously block B ranks and below, or other jutsu with equal or lower chakra, for 10 chakra per turn though you cannot use any other spells while it's in use. Questions?

Knockback - Supplementary/Defensive

The Knockback Jinx ( Flippendo ) feels like a blow to the chest, knocking its victim back, along with a loud bang. This alone isn't enough to cause serious or fatal damage however; the attack lands with great force, sending an opponent backwards 10 meters quickly. This can be used to target attacks of lower chakra than this one, causing them to rebound back at the foe, making it a very using spell for any wizard. Can only be used once every two turns and up to 4 times in all.
I like this one because it can push back jutsus or opponents across ranges. Furthermore, it can recoil jutsus back to their caster, turning their own techniques against them

Equal cancels out, yes.

Now the S rank spells.

S

Patronus Charm - Supplementary/Defensive

The Patronus Charm ( Expecto Patronum ) represents that which is hidden, unknown but necessary within the personality. When confronted with inherent evil and dark chakra, such as the Dark Arts, the user is able to cast a corporeal Patronus. Every Patronus is as unique as its creator and even identical twins have been known to produce very different Patronuses, each taking the shape of a different animal of the user. To successfully cast the spell, one must muster the happiest memory they can think of and then say the incantation, Expecto Patronum; the Patronus will come from the tip of the wand and can be directed towards a target by pointing one's wand at said target. When created, the Patronus has the ability to repel dark and naturally "evil" chakra, such as Dark Arts, Keigoku, etc from nearing the Patronus's short range radius. This allows the user to stay safe as long as the Patronus itself is near them, preventing dark energy from reaching it, being the ultimate defense against dark forces. Against other jutsu, the Patronus grants an S rank defense towards them, being able to survive one S ranked attack of any power as long as the user sacrifices 40 chakra for it, allowing it to reform. Can only be used 3 times in all, each use lasting 3 turns. After ending, the user cannot use any DADA spells for 3 turns.
Now, this one is pretty useful but I got too many threads to reply to so you explain this one

Perhaps the most famous DADA spell from HP lore, the Patronus creates a construct of Mahou that takes the shape of an animal, inherently to the user's own personality. As a result, every Patronus is different. The Patronus prevents any kind of "dark" or "evil" chakra or techniques from entering its proximity, specifically repelling them if they come within short-range of the Patronus. As such, the user can prevent themselves from being harmed from such techniques by staying within this range of the Patronus. Alternatively, the user can direct the Patronus towards a technique, regardless of nature, to act as a defense against it. This can extend up to S-rank; in the case that the opposing technique is S-rank itself, the user can have the Patronus reform by sacrificing 40 chakra, being usuable once per Patronus.

Two questions: is the Patronus weakened by striking techniques less than S-rank, like other techniques are, and is the reformation passive or does it cost a move?

Weakened, no. Constant S rank defense until overpowered.
Costs a move to reform.

Maximum Shield Defensive

An advance Shield Charms ( Protego Maxima ) is a more powerful version of the previous form. This version allows the user the same level of functionality but with an added ability; now able to imbibe objects with a Shield charm, the user is able to apply this charm to other objects or his person itself, granting limited defensive abilities compared to the primary usage ( the ability to shield said object from A ranks and lower ) This allows the user to "gift" this ability to others by charming their clothes to contain the charm or even other objects, such as armors or shield. If used for it's primary usage, the user is able to create an S ranked shield in front of him. The primary usage can only be used 3 times with a 3 turn cooldown and unable to use any S rank and higher DADA spell for 2 turns once it ends. The primary usage can only last for four turns and no other spells can be used while it's active. The secondary usage will last until deactivated, can be used 3 times and can only be applied to S ranked physical entities with a 2 turn cooldown period in between usages.
Just like before, evaluate for me

Damn, that's awesome.

The Ultimate Shield spell works pretty much like an advanced version of the Shield spell from before, with two variations to it. The first being that the shield can be created in the same manner as the previous, stemming from the caster's wand and blocking attacks coming from the front; this variation carries greater power than the previous shield, being capable of blocking up to S-rank jutsu. The second variation allows the user to infuse the Shield into an object, such as clothing or jutsu or even themselves, allowing for broader protection. In exchange for this more versatile range of protection, the shield is slightly weaker than the primary usage, protecting up to A-rank instead of S-rank.

Okay, so since the Leg-Locker curse was the last one you learned, we'll recap Dark Arts and the three types shortly and then move on to Flagrante.

I'll keep my part short. In simplest terms, Dark Arts are spells and magic used and designed to do damage to the opponent. The Dark Arts are pragmatic in nature, where every time a branch is defeated, it only comes back "fiercer and cleverer" than before. considerations. While the Dark Arts have a bad reputation, overall, dark magic is not, by definition, "evil" magic. Dark Magic can be used for good as well as evil, even the Killing Curse can be used for good. At the same time, Dark Magic is not the only type of magic that can be used with the intent to kill. It's more of the intent and purpose that causes something to be called Dark Arts. An example using our spells would be Severing Charm. It's purpose is to sever and cut items but it can be used irresponsibly to kill a ninja, but this doesn't make it a Dark spell, while Sectumsempra is made to cut and slash the opponents severely and is a Dark spell.

With Dark Arts, they fall into 3 types: jinxes, hexes and curses eith jinxes being annoyances and curses being the worst of the three. Many dark items are considered cursed because they tend to be fatal, just a tip in case of future PCCJ.

You already learned the jinxes so next is the hexes if you have no questions
