Some had injuries like a car hit them. And the rips weren't just broken, they entered their Hearts. And the skin was UNTOUCHED .. ? Don't need to be a doctor to see that this is some strange shit.

Not to mention that the corpses were radiated. Call me mad, but I really dont think that we are true owners of this planet. We do own the Earth, but only becuase some superior (waaaay superior, considering they either had to warp the space or travel through dimensions in order to get to us, light speed wont get you that far), extraterrestrial intelligence allows us to.

and they decided to reveal themselves by scaring the shit out of some campers and killing them in weird ways and then disapear to never be seen again?

we get radiation from the sun all the time, maybe something happened in the atmosphere or there was a big radiation burst from the sun and it hit that spot. could also explain the hellucenations (very fast shift from cold to hot tempature).

there is a disease that cause your bones to be very fragile, where you can for instance break an arm by hitting it a little to hard. you don't see anything on the skin because the force isn't strong enough, but it is strong enough to break the bones because they are so fragile. it's possible they had that disease or developed it in the mountains or something.

I'm not a doctor and I don't find that strange at all. It's not particularly strange, you just want it to be strange and yes you need to be a doctor to be able to call this truly strange as if a doctor recognizes the phenomenon and knows how something like that could be possible, it's not strange in the least, then you are just finding this strange due to lack of knowledge.

Fact this that I have seen countless of videos and pictures of people having broken arms or legs, clearly showing that their bones had gotten deformed under their skin, but the skin itself had no damage whatsoever. For the record the human skin is quite flexible. I don't find it really hard to imagine that someone breaks his ribs and has the bad luck that it breaks in such a way it pierces their heart, but their skin remains intact. Then you also need to take into consideration the very cold climate, which makes the body react differently than in normal circumstances. for instance in cold temperatures your blood flows much slower.

I think this has been pretty much explained before due to an avalanche. That is what explained the "car crash" type trauma. As for the missing eyes and tongue, that's what happens to dead corpses. Animals and insects go for the soft tissue areas of a corpse when scavenging on it, typically those areas. Its what happens often when people find cattle that are supposedly "mutilated", but its really just the natural course of decomposition.

Here's a good thread on reddit discussing it:

And a good comment explaining it:

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but the whole incident can be explained by an avalanche. The cut their way out of their tent, (which was pitched on a mountainside), as the snow from the avalanche had completely covered their tent. Let's break down what happened after.

They left their tent barefoot - This is most probably due to needing a quick getaway. Snowshoes and hiking boots take a while to put on, and they clearly wouldn't have had the time. A contributing factor may have been hypoxia, as they may well have begun to suffocate in the tent, leading to confusion and disorientation. These hypoxic symptoms probably stopped them from returning to the tent after they thought the area was safe

Two of the members were found undressed and others were found inadequately dressed - This is known as paradoxical undressing, which is an associated symptom of hypothermia that causes the victim to undress themselves in a state of confusion. Items of clothes from others that were partially dressed were found on people that had no doubt survived longer and took it from the dead. The following is taken from wikipedia

One explanation for the effect, [of paradoxical undressing], is a cold-induced malfunction of the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that regulates body temperature. Another explanation is that the muscles contracting peripheral blood vessels become exhausted (known as a loss of vasomotor tone) and relax, leading to a sudden surge of blood (and heat) to the extremities, fooling the person into feeling overheated.

Internal injuries associated with that of a car crash - Avalanches can move in excess of 200mph, carrying both boulders and large blocks of ice. If they hit a person, said person will be a post-person. Internal injuries don't always match up with visible injuries, and 50's Soviet forensic techniques, like the vast majority of the world, were rudimentary at best.

The missing tongue mystery - This is possibly the easiest to explain. The answer most likely lies in a hungry animal that saw a fresh body, sniffed the mouth, saw a fleshy pink lump, tore it off and wandered away.

Running away from the camp - Again, they were probably trying to get away from the danger zone. We need to remember that the on the night in question, the temperature was far below -25C, with a severe snow storm. Mix darkness in with this, being a mile away from the tent or 10 metres away wouldn't have made a difference when you can't see your hand in front of your face. They were lost, scared, cold, and injured. It's a pretty horrific way to go. (On a side note, I recommend watching the film The Way Back, it has a really sad scene where one guy gets lost from the camp and freezes to death, and they find him in the morning about 15 metres away from the camp).

The Soviet Generals - I've never heard of this before. If it's true, they were probably either trying to figure it out themselves, or telling people to shut up.

I hope you found this interesting, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. ;)

The radiation is a mystery, though its possible there never way any real radiation and that bit has just come with the retelling of the story and adding on to its mysterious nature.

Perhaps this is what happened, perhaps it isn't. But if you're willing to accept a totally natural explanation its there.

They didnt reveal themselves, right? I mean, its not like the existence of extraterrestrial life is a common knowlege, at least not among normal people, our governments know way more than we do.

if aliens didn't want to reveal themselves, why kill those people and in such horrific and strange ways? why not hide themselves with their incredible knowledge and technology or at least, why not kill the campers and hide them? to kill them in strange ways and then leave them there to be found and reported to worldwide media and the internet is a terrible way of hiding their existence.

people like to point to those stories because there is something strange and out of this world about them. if it was really aliens i would expect them to handle it much more cleanly and secretly. but then again, if the story was just a couple of campers going missing it wouldn't make a very interesting topic, and you would probably never hear about it. even though in an alien situation it makes more sense.

Probably in order to perform some kind of experiment. A funny things about UFOs is that sometimes they dont even try to be secretive. ->
