Hey you Guys. I wanted to share this with you. It's about the The Dyatlov Pass Incident. Ever heard about it? It's really strange and it to this day, it remains as one of the great mysteries that happened.

If you have time, then watch this Video. It pretty much summarizes this case pretty well. It's Mindblowing really.

- The Video Description

The Dyatlov Pass incident resulted in the deaths of nine ski hikers in the northern Ural mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. It happened on the east shoulder of the mountain Kholat Syakhl.
The mountain pass where the incident occurred has since been named Dyatlov Pass after the group's leader, Igor Dyatlov.
Investigators at the time determined that the hikers tore open their tent from within, departing barefoot into heavy snow and a temperature of −30 °C (−22 °F). Although the corpses showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs, and one was missing her tongue and there was radiation present as the bodies were aged very quickly.

Personally, this is an extremely interesting case and requires further investigation.

I found a documentary developed by the local Russian Television Agency of Ural that is over 2 hours in length and can be subtitled using the browser. This goes into greater detail then the
history channel piece and expands the mystery on the subject. Well worth the watch.

Please share your Opinion about this case. What do you think about it? How do you think did these hikers die?

Share your thoughts.

I still dont get what is so mysterious. They died, boom no mystery there. I want something more creepy/eerie. I like those types of threads.

Did you watch the Video? Watch it. It is the HOW. How did they die and WHAT killed them?

saw that movie on Netflix literally yesterday lol. it doesn't sound weird at first but apparently 2 guys had fractured skulls and one with broken ribs but there was no extrernal damage done to the bodies. not even a bruise. they compared it to the phillidelphia experiment

what makes it interesting is the fact that, 2 of the victims had broken skulls, 2 had broken ribs, 1 female had her tongue and eyes missing. That kind of smells funny to say the least. A ritualist perhaps?

Why are you going to ski in night? That's asking for trouble...

It's clear what happened if you just think about it for a second...

There was another case pretty much exactly the same with only 1 survivor and it turned out that the temperature changing from so cold to normal when they camp caused mass hallucinations and they all freaked themselves out and ran away from visions... They ended up killing each other in really horrific ways. If you look at people tortured or maimed in really cold environments they often cause abnormality's in skin, blood and organs in the dead body.

very creepy, but i'm sure there is a logical explanation other then ghosts or demons that we just haven't found yet. in the 18th century people wroking in hat shops or hat factories turned crazy very often, it was so common that they made a phrase, "mad as a hatter", and also the mad hatter from lewis carrol's "alice in wonderland" was inspired by the many mad hatters that were out there.

it turns out, they all had mercury poisoning. mercury was a key ingredient in making hats and they all inhaled a lot of it. it was an unsolved mystery and a superstition for a very long time, but just because we don't understand it doesn't mean there is something unnatural going on.

Actually I read something about this less than a month ago, saying it pretty much got solved. It was due to hallucinations that were caused by temperature shifts or something.

That is of course if you believe in such an explanation. The problem with this kind of stories is that they start living a life on their own after a while, resulting in people not accepting rational/boring explanations.

Yup, this was more or less it.

How do you explain the broken rips? They were broken inside. The skin outside was untouched. There must be something more.

Are you a doctor? I have personally broken my ribs without any marks at all on my skin, nothing seems odd at all.

Some had injuries like a car hit them. And the rips weren't just broken, they entered their Hearts. And the skin was UNTOUCHED .. ? Don't need to be a doctor to see that this is some strange shit.
