The team of ANBU wait patiently while very well hidden in the crevices of the rock formation in the outskirts of Kumogakure. These young shinobi do not mind making their company with the dirt, to them all that matters is the greater objective. They silently give themselves over to be simple parts of the great and more powerful machine of Konoha. Captain Uchiha Itachi, the youngest ANBU squad captain in the history of Konoha, Inuzuka Cho, an 18 year old respected and skilled shinobi of the Inuzuka clan, Yamanaka Kaoru the only female of the team their Medical Ninja, the oldest(19 years old) but not the most mature of the four and the last member of the typical Konoha four man squad of shinobi and the only one who is not a descendant of one of the famous clans of Konoha is Katsura Kanryu.
Laid back yet immensely skilled is the proper description for the black haired lad.
Cho: Itachi-taichou, its seems they've received the message, the guards are moving away. We can go now.
All four ninja emerge.
Itachi: Kaoru-san, please help us survey the village. It is foreign territory after all, we need to get an idea of it.
Kaoru: Yes Captain.
The blonde female dips her gloved right hand in a pouch containing weapons. She pulls out a kunai and with a little hesitation, makes a small cut on her left thumb, her eyes could be seen squinting behind her mask which resembled a bird. She proceeded to form a few quick hand seals then gently place her injured hand on the ground causing a cloud of smoke to appear around that arm. The smoke clears and an eagle is observed to have appeared out of nowhere. The creature remains quiet on the ground, lightly flapping its glorious feathers while its summoner creates a unique hand seal pointed at it.
Kaoru: Shintenshin no jutsu.
She suddenly collapses and Itachi quickly takes hold of her before she hits the ground. The bird immediately starts releasing a small amount of chakra from its tail feathers and takes off at a terrifying speed.
Cho: Goodluck Kaoru-san.
The bird is soon out of even the keen eyesight of the Uchiha captain and reaches the foreign village in a matter of moments. Its slows down to almost of a halt in the middle of the sky and begins to descend lower sinking through the clouds. Elsewhere, the team of ANBU slowly approach the village on foot, taking the greatest caution.
Cho: Why do I have to carry her?
Itachi: Because you're stronger than the rest of us put together.
A few snickers can be heard amongst the team of masked shinobi as they continue to walk towards enemy territory. Even Itachi smiled.
Itachi: If you have time to complain why don't you start looking for Kiyosato?
Cho: He's certainly in the village. He has taken various measures to mask his scent so its faint. It will take sometime to pinpoint.
Katsura: I was hoping we'd find and deal with him today.
Itachi: It seems we might have to stay the night in Kumo.
Cho: Very dangerous.
Katsura: We'll be fine. We have the great Uchiha Itachi!
Itachi Not so loud Katsura.
Cho: Mastered the Sharingan at the age of 8.
Katsura: After graduating the Academy in only one year at the age of 7.
Cho: Became a Chunnin at the age of 10!
Kaoru: And an ANBU just half a year later.
Cho: Ah, you're back Kaoru-san.
She jumps off Cho's back.
Itachi: Remind me never to let my little brother meet my team ever again. What's up?
Kaoru: Well, it would be pretty easy to blend in from here. I've found an Inn where we can stay in case we can't go back today. I've also looked into the Raikage's office. Managed to fly in through a broken window. Didn't see Kiyosato there.
Itachi: I see. I'd like to remind you that Kiyosato is a sensor so even if we find him, we'll have to be careful how we approach. Also, we are in another village. A drawn out battle with Kiyosato will compromise us. So in capturing him, we will have to be discreet.
Katsura: Lucky for us, we have the great Uchiha-
Itachi: Stop it. We're at the village now. Everyone disguise yourselves.
Each member of the team form an identical hand seal changing their appearance in an instant and at the same time surrounding each with a cloud of smoke.
Itachi had transformed into a taller man, who looked every bit like his true face but without the pronounced tear troughs running into his cheek. His hair was shorter, stopping at the base of his neck and he was dressed like any other normal citizen; a black shirt with white pants and black sandals, his right hand having fingerless gloves and a scarf tied around his neck.
The team Medic transformed into a red head teenager with a green gown and black sandals.
The team tracker lost his tradmark Inuzuka fang markings on his cheek and donned a brown jacket so bulky and thick that it resembled fur along with black pants and black sandals, he also sported a goatee. Katsura's appearance did not change at all, only his attire did, to an ocean blue shirt and white pants with black sandals.
Cho: Let's do this.
Itachi: We will separate at this point into teams of two. Cho will find the target and we will rendezvous at the Inn Kaoru-san found for us where we will stay the night and plan our strategy. Kaoru-san is coming with me, Katsura will go with Cho.
Katsura, Kaoru and Cho: Alright.
