Underestimated Characters

Hiata and Shino. Shino can come up with great tactics and those bugs could (potentially) fatally wound madara. Also, the current tsuchikage Oonoki is absolutely beast and imo the strongest of the current kages.

I agree with you whole-heartedly. Kishimoto says he has trouble making good quality female lead roles.

Personally, I wonder if he just doesn't see women as equals to men. Science has proven time and again that females of any species are generally more aggressive than males, especially when defending their young. How many guys do you know that hold grudges the way girls do? I'm a girl, and I can admit that the darker side of my personality could be considered resentful and a bit violent, if ticked off enough. I don't sit and cry if something doesn't go my way.

Throughout the Naruto episodes, how many times have we seen the girls just sit in the grass and cry, instead of doing something productive. Even Tsunade, with all her training and experience, was crying all over Orochimaru when we were introduced to her. I wonder if Kishimoto has met with any woman in the past 10 years. Clearly he's misjudging.

I say both Naruto and Hinata have ben under estimated from the beginning of the series, for Naruto it is changing before our eyes, Hinata in Her desire to protected Naruto out of Her love for Him is now starting to shine, but will Kishi make Her shine to the point of impressing Naruto?, thats the big question. I do not know if Kishi will let this happen, it all depended on the direction Kishi has for Her, weather She is to be a major character in Naruto's life or still remain a back up character with a love interest in Naruto.

Yeah, but those women with the exception of Azula that you mentioned as villains seem like merely *** symbols to me. I dunno about the Talia person you mentioned though. And most of the women in naruto are always b*tchy for some reason. I hope Kishi realizes that not all women act like that.

I don't know if I'm the only one watching the manga but some of your votes are so irrelevant and stupid to me it made no sense. First of all how is Naruto hinata Neji saske and guy are underestimated. Do u guys know what that word means for instance naruto and saske are the main characters of the show and to me in terms or power and skill they are supreme ninjas compare to the others. In other words they can kick ass and next Neji and Hinata are from the huga Clan and to me there performance in the manga and the naruto series is exceptional. Neji was the first to become a johnin just because he dont get enough screen time does not mean he is underestimated everybody knows Neji can kick ass and he is a tough opponent even hinata who is voted as the best female character from the whole series by her fans and its true hinata has a huge fan base and alot of ppl like her. Kishimoto knows that hinata is loved by alot of ppl so thats is one of the reasons why he put her on the field to save naruto when he was battling pain. An underestimated character is someone who has potential but dont get acknowledge for it for example Tsunade, Sakura, Shino and other female characters.Its is a fact that the female characters in the show are shown as weaklings and they are underestimated and I am a Man and I could acknowledge that. People who have said Hinata, is Underestimated is rather naive cause she has alot of fans than any female character there is no way she is underestimated. That voting pole results are biased and needs some sort of grounds when explaining why is that character underestimated. Saske and Naruto oh pleased those 2 hell no get out of here lol

well its true that women are more emotional than men as well...i just think characters like Tsunade are extremely underestimated when it comes to skill & power considering her family lineage, senju=to uchiha or better since theyre always playing the lead role, and look how great the uchiha are, now since tsunade is of the senju clan....i would like to see how she would represent that, i have no doubt she is a strong as hell character, but compared to sasuke..it just seems like...her power level is 4000 while sasuke's is "OVER 9000!!!!!O.O" u know?

Ah yes, Azula was a great villian, though she was very annoying at timesxd But ya at the start of shippuden I finally thought Sakura was going to become a badass female ninja (brute strength + high level healing) but after the Sasori fight everything went downhill. That's why I thought the war would give us a break from Naruto and Sasuke and start focusing on the side characters battling and showing us readers that they are more than we assume them to be, but once again Kishi missed an opportunity and decided to bring Naruto back prematurely.

shino!!! for real people. this man is smart as hell and every move is planned to a T. but no manga time for this guy at least neji has whole eps. about him and his d*** eye. shino is an undercover beast. cant wait to this guy shows on on the battle field. (i dont think they showed him yet?) but nei was there and everyone once from the 12 leaf kids.

Ichiraku ramen dude is the MOST underestimated character in the ENTIRE SERIES EVAAAR.

all u see him do in the back is lift ramen baskets.
when people are out at battle he is lifting ramen baskets.
when it dinner time... he is lifting ramen baskets.
When Pein came and destroyed the village, he was still there in the same exact spot lifting ramen baskets.

all that lifting keeps his right arm extra strong, so strong gravity has no effect on it anymore and has probably moved on to the rest of his body. Ichiraku makes ramen for the strongest cause only they can handle the intensity of his technique.
He just refuses to go into battle because the village doesnt pay him to fight... unfortunately.
