1) Nagato isn't channeling his chakra through all 6pains do of course he can use it better when he's focusing all his chakra on that one technique.

2) it's never been said that you can separate yourself from the Susanoo.

When Gaara did that, the Susano'o destabilised.

Naruto had some training with soul fighting when he took Kurama's so imo that's why it took longer and about Itachi being outside his Susanoo, maybe he's just that good with it and can be outside of it or it's just a flaw in both the manga and anime but I don't see why both would mess up.

Nagato is trying to pull his soul out. just like Kuruma did when Naruto was trying to control his power. It was a tug of war between their souls so Naruto has some experience with that. and resisted better than Shizune did.

1st of all,.. I'm getting pretty sick of these threads asking stupid-ass question.
2nd, Naruto is way stronger than Shizune, I'm going to leave it at that, any further explination would only be embarrasing.
3rd, Susanoó isn't a shielding dome around the user at all times, it's a tool used and utilized in any way the user wants.
