Ive seen it before, i think it means that you have disabled the reputation thing

u receive reputation points from other users when u post something..that of course if they choose to give u reps lol
reps can be positive or negative it depends..so u cant call it a good thing but not bad either ^_^

In your User CP, where it shows your new reps, if you get a grey one it means it could either have been a pos or a neg, but it wasn't applied because perhaps the user who gave it to you did not meet basic requirements of giving out reputation. O:

At least that's how I'm assuming it is. ;3
