Yeah....Ichigo overuses his Main Character Power. That's why its hard to figure out Ichigo's strength level because...let's see...

1.) He beat Byakuya with only bankai and beat Kenpachi with shikai only
2.) Got his butt kicked by Nnoitra and Nooitra got beaten by Zaraki
3.) Ichigo almost lost to Yammy in bankai
4.) Byakuya beat Zommari by barely using bankai.

im not defending it i think he should lose more often but
by 1 the hollow inside him interfered otherwise he would not have won by kenpachi agreed

1) He havent, Byakya amoired his defeat... could still beat him with KIDo though... Ichigo was barely standing. He havent won Zaraki, it was tie + Zaraki messed up his sword.
2) lol.. HE barely finished Grimmjow, do you think it was possible for him to beat nnoitra in this state? No way.
3) Hollow distrubed him... When hollow didnt he just cut of yammis hand..

I dont think Kubo is overpowering Ichigo, it's ok tho. But i agree that Ichigo shouldnt defeat Ulquiorra. And I have the same opinion as the thread starter that Ulquiorra is somehow special.

Did you notice how much Aizen values Inoue's abilties and yet he sent Ulquiorra (4) to get her rather than Stark (1).

I agree that there is a striking resemblence between the silhouette of the Vasto Lorde and Ulquiorra, esspecially if you look at more recent scenes of Ulquiorra where his hollow hole has moved from the base of his neck to visably lower at about his sternum. It matches up pretty closely.

He also seems to be very much different than the top 3 Espada who seem to act pretty much autonomously. Ulquiorra could I think be higher than #4, but I still think that Stark is the primera. He seems to be on a whole different level from the others.

Lastly, I would like to present an alternate theory. The hollow in the silhouette also resembles very much Ichigo's hollow form when he was almost completely transformed. The hollow hole is exactly in the same place. Ichigo's head is the only part left unchanged completely and maybe horns are missing. Possibly the hollow part of Ichigo is a Vasto Lorde in a dormant form.

I just saw a pic a almost full hollow mode Ichigo and I think he doesn't have horns like that pic of the Vasto Lordes.

He should be hellastrong when he fuy transforms into a hollow. remember, fst regeneraion, cero blasts, getsuga. Even captain level shinigami had to use hollow powers to fight him.
