1. Barcelona have had a trend of winning/losing in CL every other year the team they lost to won the CL that year in the semi.
United beat us in semi 07/08 won CL
We won 08/09
Inter beat us in semi 09/10 won CL
We won 10/11
Chelsea beat us in semi 11/12 won CL
Still going will see if this breaks this season, or if Barca take it.
2. I remember reading England (club wise) never lost PK to foreign clubs, but they did lose to one another (EPL Club VS EPL Club). This trend is still a live as Chelsea won in PK VS Bayern. This was confirmed by a commentary.
3. Spain VS France, this trended end with Spain getting the victory. If France played the same way I think they could have won, they moaned about defensive teams, but yet did it themselves, this was their chance to show their offensive skills off. Instead they payed the price.
4. Spain VS Portugal. Portugal has never beaten Spain outside of Portugal, yet this trend remains, as they haven't yet.
5. A new one, we have reached the final of Euros twice thru PK shootouts, do you know who scored the winner both times? Fabregas and he spoke to the ball lol as Glida pointed out
6. Germany have never beaten Italy in competitive competitions.
7. Germany has always won the Euro after losing the final the last Euros, as someone stated in this topic early and I elaborated on it.
The question is now who's trend will go on will Italy beat Germany to keep theirs alive, or will Germany go on to the final and hope to get a victory to keep theirs, while breaking the Italian ghost thats been haunting them?
