Pique who was Shakira'd the whole season scored.
Ramos did a panenka
Fabregas hit the post and like fate/luck, he scored while the post denied Alves minute ago.
Oh yeah, Ronaldo kept waiting for his chance.

Sorry, I resign to analyse this penalty shoot-outs. There's no theory how this happen - it just happen.

As for Spain, that was a hard win, IMO. They did a better game the 30 minutes of the +part (Whatevs you call it) but it was a really matter of luck.

Well the first half was somewhat even, but Portugal got the better of it. The second half started even for about 10-15 mins after that slowly Spain took over. The ET (Extra time) Spain dominated with Portugal getting a chance, or two.

Barcelona players have been a huge asset to this team, but lets not forget about Ramos who played well today, Xabi Alonso who got us by France despite Inesita/Alba setting that play up, and Casillas who's been the great GK we've had.

Today Alba played well, I see him signing with Barcelona after this Euros. Inesita as he's been this Euro on his A game. Ramos was key for defence today, Pique wasn't that bad considering Shakira wasn't there, she may mess up the finals I hope she doesn't make it.

i'm disappointed Portugal lost. in overral i think Portugal was a little superior then spain because we didn't let them play their usual football. in extra time we clearly were tired so spain dominated it and penalties are all almost about luck. ramos can suck my d*ick for that one. but i'm rooting for germany to win euro. and @relax: why do you hate ronaldo?

If Germany makes the final I have some cool statistic/facts/fate regrading both nations and overall also regrading clubs from past/present.

Those memes were jokes posted on FB and around. I thought they were funny. I have nothing against Ronaldo abilities/skills, but I'll be honest I don't like the guys personality, characteristics, and how he portrays himself in front of the media. I live in a area surrounds by many Portuguese (at least 45%) who always support Portugal, but more than I can say 85% of them don't like Ronaldo personality/etc.

I'm going to have a lengthy respond to Escrops regrading Ronaldo/Messi debate and some other topics in the next day, or two. The first bit will be about Ronaldo/Messi if you want stop by than and you'll see somethings, that have made many hate his personality.

yeah i admit his personality isn't the better but i give some of the fault to the media. but he is a really good player, i was hoping he would score today. and where do you live by the way? 45% of portuguese? that sounds alot

The thing is I thought the same, but Ronaldo has been in the media far too much for all the wrong reason too, and since its Ronaldo all is believable now.

I live in Canada, in the Toronto area. There is a huge population of Portuguese/Italian/Spanish people here. The street I live on (not including others that connect to it) we have roughly 50 houses and 30+ are all Portuguese families.

Actually, I'm feeling the contrary after yesterday's match.
Spain had lots of weaknesses compared to 2008 and 2010 but it felt like it was destined for them. They had loads of luck in the penalty lottery.

My guess is that either Italy or Germany will seem to be much stronger before the final but at the end, luck will again favor Spain. Well, I'd be glad to be wrong but I'm just getting this feel...

And oh yeah, Pirlo owns. A Totti-penalty style.

Nope.

That style was named after Czech Republic midfielder Antonín Panenka who scored that penalty, or should I say Panenka in the 1976 Euro finals VS West Germany. This was supposedly the first PK shootout in a Euro final also.
