Itachi and Kabuto. You see how in the past Itachi was like Kabuto. So we can see the arrogance in place. Wish I can explain more but I don't remember that scene to well.

I assume, Kakashi even inherit such, but by choice. He is not full blood Uchiha. However, witnessing the powers and achievements Itachi have demonstrated, in the Uchiha name - in his past, present, or future - led him to believe the Uchiha Superior, in my opinion. As to it was the Uchiha choice, is saying having a baby was choice.

We have grown and live our lives around people who influence our thoughts and sometime and actions. Therefore, it was an inescapable aspect of their nature from generation before them, down to their ancestor. The famous phrase, qoute, "everything is useless before these eyes" shows how cocky one can be. The Uchiha glorified and relayed on their eyes and less on their true and own skills. Proof was when Izanagi became forbidden during war clashes with Senju. However, can't really say. It is a "tool" after all, comparison to a shuriken or kunia knife.

I was talkng, so I probably don't make sense.

Oh no! That was awesome and true, every word.

Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Obito and Uchiha Sasuke are self explanatory.

But even Itachi, who was the epitome of unselfishness and self sacrifice; was no stranger to this trait. Even though he possessed true kindness and knew insufferable pain and agony, he did not hesitate to educate others in his idea of reality and things that truly matter and things that are only materialistic. Examples of his arrogance can also be seen in both the times he defeated Orochimaru. "Orochimaru you are weaker than me, nothing you ever do; will work on these eyes". The second time...Itachi completely ignores the snake's babble; and addresses Orochimaru as if he were vermin of the lowest order. "Finally it comes out", shortly before sealing him away forever(or so we thought), and asking Sasuke what he will do next; as if Orochimaru was just another form of Sasuke's arsenal.

Itachi's only acknowledgement of Naruto was the result of the undying bond and hope Naruto felt for his little brother, no matter how unrealistic it seemed to him.

Does arrogance rule the lives of all Uchiha just as the Curse and Power do? Is it their own choice; or an inescapable aspect of their nature?

Nature; from the given information, the Uchiha were a battle portentous family in the times before the creation of the Leaf. Everything after is just the regurgitating this fact.

Are you mad because the things that he saw as ''reality'' really WERE the reality? And how was everything he said related to only materialistic? He was the one who educated others NOT to be arrogant. He praised other people when he saw that they were pretty strong how is that arrogant?

And why would Itachi pay attention to someone that IS below his level. Itachi said the truth when he said: ''Nothing will work on these eyes''. How is telling the truth related to being arrogant?

Itachi is not arrogant.

No, not what he said! He believed that things that truly mattered to others were materialistic and unimportant and they were missing the big picture. I agreed with him at the time, fully; but that doesn't mean his arrogance wasn't shining through also. "my vessel is dismayed at this foolish clan".*shuriken in the wall

This was all an act because he was about to murder his own clan. This has nothing to do with Itachi being arrogant.

And isn't it true what Itachi said that people are missing the big picture? More ironically is that everything Itachi has said in Naruto can be seen in real life. That is why Itachi is the best character in Naruto, all the things he says are meaningfull and are true aswell not just crap like Naruto's talk no jutsu.

It wasn't an act, it was genuine venting of his frustration with the Uchiha, he was trying to explain to them how foolish they all were for trying to start a war for self respect and image.

There is no plot no jutsu. I don't wanna get into it, please....

If you don't grasp certain concepts, that's fine; but there is no need to undermine and insult the manga. Its disrespectful to Kishimotos intelligence and mine.

So he was trying to LEARN his fellow clanmembers that they were doing things the wrong way AND HE WAS RIGHT so how is he arrogant?

Well he said it pretty arrogantly, ignorant of his entire clans point of view...in the end; it's all perspective. The Uchiha were blamed for something they didn't do, they weren't at fault entirely! Plus...Danzo ended up pushing Itachi cuz he was aching for those Sharingans.

Because... they are... two different things with two different meanings. Reading is hard, huh?

While I agree PNJ is stupid, TNJ has some truth to it. And whether they are used to "annoy/insult" depends on the context. In this case it was a mere example to show how Itachi differs from your regular shounen characters. You disregarding the explanation just because of the casual usage of one term is, no offense, pretty childish.

So when Nagato realised his own corruption and the failure in his method thanks to Jiraiyas book, it was all a pile of crap to you?! Look, if it was; that's fine....just don't frikkin say it just to annoy me man! That's your problem, not mine, I fully believe in this story! GTFO!

Are you really illiterate? I JUST stated it wasn't used to annoy you. My god, learn how to f*cking read already.

Yup. You can't erase YEARS of firm belief with one book. Now listen, you can cry all you want but telling me to go away won't make the facts go away. You're not even trying to refute my points; you're just crying foul. This is exactly the reason why I called you a Kishimoto fanboy in the first place; instead of wanting the manga to get better, you're fine with anything Kishi does, hence lowering the standard of the manga. No wonder we have all these plotholes. Fans like you make it way too easy.

Not even if the book was inspired from your own words, from a time when you were a different person and believed in something more?

Btw I have tried and tried against many, and grown tired, now...I just ignore! Don't make me put you on that list. This is the end of this.

Dude what the heck is your problem lol?

Do you hate the Uchiha clan that much?

Itachi is not arrogant at all. Itachi like i said praised people when they did something impressive, He was trying to teach/learn people to do things different than they would usually do with his MEANINGFULL words.

No, it would still take time. The human's psyche can't just instantly switch from one conviction to the next - and certainly not because of some teenager showed you some old book from years ago even though after all that time you've planned and schemed and worked for so long to reach your goal. It is not realistic for that to be erased with one conversation. Ask any certified psychologist and they'll tell you the same thing.

What f*cking list? All I've done is use logic and arguments - which you chose to ignore for no real reason other than that you're tired? Here's a hint: if you don't want to end up in an argument with someone, don't f*cking start one.

That's what you think! People change overnight! Just like he changed the second Yahiko died.

And I didn't fukking start one! Look again!

In regards to the topic of discussion... The only (IMO) arrogance Itachi has shown is the arrogance in his ability to do everything alone... which is why he failed. He even admits this.

Thats the only arrogance I believe we can label Itachi with.

How was Itachi arrogant? Itachi does have a point, most jutsu is useless against the sharingan since the sharingan user can simply copy it. Orochimaru was going after the sharingan to learn all jutsu, and all of his jutsu that we've seen aren't kekkei genkai, which Itachi can easily copy if he sees it.

Itachi wasn't arrogant, he proved Orochimaru was no match for him and all this without using his MS.
