They may be overrated because the Uchihas we've been seeing are the cream of the clan, the hall-of-famers who have awakened mangekyou sharingan or better, so there's probably an impression that a lot of Uchihas have such a high bar but the truth is 3-tomoe sharingan Uchihas are far weaker than people might believe!

Sasuke might of been given the eyes, but he has to still train to have the physical stamina and chakra control to make use of his powers and advantages he gets from his sharingan

1. The Sharigan is a bloodline and something has to happen for it to activate.

2. Sasuke did not have to kill Naruto to get his MS.

Sasuke trained under Orochimaru to get to where he is at, plus Kakashi had something to do with it to. So in reality Sasuke did train, but we just never had the chance to witness Orochimaru's training methods with Sasuke. Also, whenever Sasuke has used his Sharigan or jutsus, etc. he has to put his all and it takes a toll on him. If he didn't train he wouldn't be where he is at.

as the title says..

if you compare naruto to sasuke you can see that sasuke has done absolutly nothin to be naruto's level..
The whole point of Naruto is the same as Hajime no Ippo, through hard work, determination, and the will to pursue your goals no matter what is the route to success. This is a common theme in everyday Japanese and I dare say Asian society, they are hard workers, Kishi is just using Naruto to show that hard work can overcome geniuses. To inspire little kids to never give up on their dreams and to work hard. It is because of that central theme that we do not see much if any of Sasuke's training, and that it seems like he did absolutely nothing to get his powers. Kishi just portrays Sasuke as a genius and Naruto as the hard worker, stop your complaining grow up and go do something with your life.

its not overrated, but it is as one person said. overpriveledged. A lot of power with what seems like not so much work. Then again, thats kind of the point I think. Naruto must train and strive, whereas sasuke is naturally gifted. Granted both have trained hard, but naruto is insane.
