It is invalid. Their base speed is the exact same, shunshin or not. Neji can keep up with shunshin level speeds, and I've already established his ability to predict incoming speeds, how he predicted an Airborne Arrow from Kidomaru and had the time to make it miss by 15 CM just in time, Sasuke doesn't have any attack (and he's not that fast) that can go at speeds that fast, and this was all in part one, where Neji has grown in ranks since the time. He's only faster with shunshin.

neji can not stop any technique that have physical form,only those that have chakra flowing.
exemple of jutsus that neji can not stop:
1.mokuton
2.katon
3.susanoo

i'm not overestimating anyone and neji would be completely incinerated by high level katon ninjutsu like katon goukakyuu no jutsu

Rotation is a defense that involves rapid rotation of chakra, unless the jutsu is overly massive or has drilling properties, then its not gonna get through rotation.

the only reason the wooden spike made it though his rotation was because Neji said he wasn't spinning fast enough and since the rapid rotation of the body is the core strength of the jutsu, have a weak spin is tantamount to having a weaker defense.

in that sense alone, it is stronger than gaaras sand. not the sand from his environment cause that isn't his sand, but the sand from his gourd. at its highest form it would be even stronger than a complete susanoo, not counting Madaras' susanoo

piercing is different than drilling.

drilling involves rotation of the actual weapon in order to more firmly drill through an object. its more stable and precise than just a piercing technique

1.no, piercing and slashing is the enemy of reflection(common sense) because you can focus more power in less area.
2.yes but only if you have enough strength.
