People always say itachi and sasuke are the best but could they really win without their sharingan. Shinobi like the sannin, hokages, and raikage are truly skilled and powerful without relying on some genetic handicap. Especially in the current fight, raikage has the upper hand while sasuke struggles using his MS.

I do admit that i dislike the MS, because of how overrated it is.
Other kekke genkais(spelling) like the first hokage and haku simply combines elemental chakra, which is nothing compared to tsukoyumi, amatersu, or susanno. If the sharingan had stayed where it was at the beginning of the manga with seeing quick movements and copying justu, I would not have any problem with it.

Sasuke just needs to hurry up and go blind so he will understand that he should not be relying on techniques itachi GAVE him to win his fights and rely on his own strength. Sasuke would not be as powerful as he is now without his sharingan, needed it for chidori, to copy lee's speed/taijustu, and prevent orochimaru from taking his body.

And Sasuke was probably stronger than most of the members in Akatsuki, and Raikage managed to almost kill Sasuke, and forced him to use his last resort, the MS. He has also managed to avoid Sasuke's genjutsu and Amaterasu with his own power and without having any bloodline limit etc.

He's not an idiot. He's a very intelligent shinobi who unlike Naruto, actually uses the intel he has learned, and knows how to quickly get out of a trap.

I have already explained why I thought Raikage is an impressive shinobi in my other posts in this topic. If you would've bothered reading the entire topic before posting, you would've already gotten your answer.

That does prove that he's a great Shinobi.

People in Konoha used to make fun of Rock Lee, saying that he can't be a great shinobi if he can't use Ninjutsu. He's sorta like Raikage. Of course on the other hand, Raikage has lightning skills which he can use, but not for offensive.

So far Sasuke's Ninjutsu, Taijutsu & Genjutsu has had no effect on him, so he turned to use cheap tricks from his MS. Skills he got from Itachi if I might add.

Is Sasuke a strong Shinobi? sure. But Raikage is better, since he forced a so called genius shinobi to use his MS.



Have you seen Sasuke's current state? Raikage is the one who's still standing while Sasuke is the one on the ground.

And it was Sasuke, and not the Raikage who had to use 2 of the most powerful ninjutsu ever to prevent himself from getting killed by the Raikage. Raikage is a badass.

I know Naruto is manga and I get where you are coming from saying its a fiction genre, after all it is fiction as you stated but I just wanted you to have a non-fiction point of view. I was inspired by a quote Sasuke made to Madara a few chapters back and felt I should somehow incorporate it into my posts when people talk about Sasuke's hatred being nonsense or him being emo. I'll post the quote below.

To my knowledge Sasuke has yet to activate a genjutsu against Raikage and we don't have any evidence to suggest he can or cannot avoid genjutsu. I may be wrong and will accept if I' am incorrect.​

From the spoilers we know raikage cut off his arm so that amaterasu doesn't get him but then Sasuke shoots another one which Garra himself had to block. Even Garra says that he had to get in it to save him. Even if Raikage would survive the Amaterasu then what would he do against Susano'O?

Mangekyou isn't really cheap in my opinion because it puts strain on its user(s) unlike the Rinnegan and its superior advantages which should be the one considered cheap over Mangekyou and its abilities. People all over the shinobi world use techniques that have been handed down to them regardless of how so and it shouldn?t make and difference if Sasuke uses his own flesh and blood Brother's techniques. Naruto was taught his father?s Rasengan and uses it to this day and isn?t bashed on when he uses it.

Just because Itachi handed down his Mangekyou techniques doesn?t mean he shouldn't use them. At least Sasuke is not using them same the way Itachi did. Sasuke has shown usage of Susanoo and Amaterasu completely different from Itachi's and they were passed down to him which I think gives him the right to use them. The Sharingan's basic qualities is to copy so there isn?t any point in trying to talk against it, Kakashi is even called the copy ninja by others and they don?t look down on him for copying with his Sharingan that Obito gave him as type of parting gift.​

The only reason people even like Sasuke is because of his Sharingan, or maybe just because he's an emo like most of his fans.

Raikage is the most impressive Shinobi we've seen yet in Naruto's universe. He doesn't even posses the Sharingan, a tailed beast or Sage mode. He's fighting against Sasuke with his own strength. And he even managed to gain the upperhand against Sasuke, and would've easily have killed him, if Sasuke didn't use another one of his cheap tricks which Kishi gave him.

Raikage, Jiraiya & Sarutobi, they're the greatest Shinobis yet. I would love to see how well Sasuke would fight against them without his Sharingan. Or how fast will Sasuke's current fanbase will reduce, if he should lose his Sharingan forever.

I think you need to re-read the spoilers......Gaara blocked Raikage's attack against Sasuke, not the other way around. Sasuke's Susanoo is also different than Itachi's. From what we've seen its unknown whether it has the Shield or Sword that Itachi's had. Without those two legendary items its unclear what type of abilities Susanoo has.

Creating water storms in an area with no water, not even Kisame could do that.. he needs to summon the water first. Tsunade could heal an entire village, and her control of chakra is so precise that that alone makes her the strongest character in the narutoverse. Genius.
Raikage is basically Sage Mode Naruto. He using his own power is the same as Sasuke using his. The electricity amplifies his reflexes to a point where he is as strong as Tsunade and as fast as Lee without weights. Then he has Shuunshin Jutsu. He had to learn those abilities, just as Sasuke did.

Some are hardworkers and earn their powers (Lee, Gai, Naruto)
Some are geniuses with bloodlimits (Sasuke, Nagato, 1st Hokage, Neji, Haku, Kimimaro), clan powers (Shikamaru, Shino), tailed Beasts etc.
Similarly, some follow the path of their clan (Shikamaru, Shino)
Saying "Take away Sasuke's Sharingan" is the same as saying take away Neji's Byakugan, or Nagato's Rinnegan, or Naruto's Sage Mode/Kagebunshins/Kyuubi, Kisame's chakra/Samehada, Deidara's 3 mouths, Hidan's religion, Kakuzu's lives, Jiraiya's toads, Tsunade's healing, 4th's teleportation.. etc etc etc.

So plz, stop hating Sasuke because he is using his clan's powers. If you hate "hand me downs/cheap upgrades" then you should really hate Kakashi, Aoi, Danzo, from a neutral and unbiased point of view. Oh yeah, Naruto also stole the ninja scroll and learned KageBunshin - same thing. Orochimaru did the same. Yamato is who he from a freaking experiment. He did nothing to earn the 1st's woodstyle jutsu.
Hate him if you want because he is evil/crazy whatever, but there is nothing wrong with his abilities.

Garra clearly says that he needed to interfere to save Raikage. Although you are right about it not having the two weapons, we never saw what Susano'0 can do by itself. That is why it is to be feared. No matter what you say Sasuke has the upper hand against him. Proof of that is that he needed that other guy to heal him. Which he could not of done if it were not for garra saving him.
