The Uchiha was VERY overexposed, and their overexposure was one of the major points to your topic. But are the Uchiha themsleves shit, which dragged down the manga? No. Were they focused on way too much? Yes.

This here is the most accurate answer.

The clan itself was very interesting and had cool, balanced techniques, before the (E)MS-spam happened. Also, they got too much focus on their story. The next thing is the introduction of the Ootsutsuki. Their story ruined the dying manga completely and doesn't make sense really.

So many more interesting characters don't get development because of these uchiha hogging spotlight and the end result is the manga becoming a parody of itself and trash.

I'm not gonna lie, I found it funny how you called out Madara Obito Itachi and Sasuke. Can't even front that was actually funny. It's not just the Uchiha getting the spotlight though. It's just Kishi wanking them and made the Hyuga look like shit in Part II....

All that I know is that my 3 of my least favourites just happen to be overexposed Uchiha. (Itachi, Sasuke & Madara)

There are good examples (Sarada, Shisui, Obito) but 9/10 things in the manga that annoy me in the latter half involve Susanoo's in some manner so i'd say it's no coincidence.

Just LOOK at Sasuke VS Deidara right before he gets Susanoo, his choreography and tactics are so diverse and fun to watch. Then he literally starts punching down walls with giant magic Susanoo arms rather than using doors. It's worse spam than rasengan.

OT: Indra said it best, the amount of Uchiha in the manga got stale kinda fast, not that it wasn't enjoyable to some degree, but even I can accept that it got kinda stale, it did not however ruin the manga........ the manga was "ruined" somewhere mid war arc.

His claim is understandable and he use the comparison from event to event to describe his claim. While you sit here just talking about something is irrevelant and then claim that his claim is invalid with just your bias opinion without anything to back it up.

Overall writing is horrendous, the Uchiha focus is just the by-product of Kishi's horrible writing skills.
