Edit: I think the eyes of a Uchiha without sharingan (someone who has yet to activate it) are the same as an eye from anyone else and the sharingan only occurs after chakra is channeled into the eye in such a way thus changing it. Get what I'm saying so far? If what I'm saying is correct perhaps Yamato and I can do the eye swap and I can develop sharingan in the new eye. This idea is out there but worth a shot.

He doesn't want to do it unless Madara agrees to it, and I wasn't going to agree to leave you blind mate.. of course if you ever got MS I think one side holds the Amaterasu and the other holds the Tsukuyomi.. So if you give up an eye, you loose one of those techniques..

You'll be able to see out of the other eye, but you wouldn't be able to use Sharingan in the other eye. I believe the sharingan is more of a physical difference in how the eye itself works when chakra is introduced into it. But all in all, it's your choice mate... Not sure if it will happen anyways, Madara seemed pretty strongly against it
