I know there have been threads made on this before, but I looked at those threads and their posts and said (too long did not read), so now I'm making a new thread.
Something doesn't add up to me about the Uchiha massacre. I can't quite grasp how Itachi and Tobi killed a whole clan by themselves. I believe for them to have effectively achieve this, they would've had to use superior stealth and the use of mastery weaponry. Why? Because in order to slaughter all those people swiftly and as clean (preserving their precious Uchiha parts) as possible they would've needed to use weapons (blades more than likely). But even still, how do you get all this done without alarming SOMEBODY..you can't..not with...

I believe genjutsu was used on all of the Uchiha's at once before the massacre occurred, but how? when? where?

We don't know of any genjutsu that could be effectively cast and put everyone under a "trance" at once...oh wait..yes we do...Tobi's "Moon Eye Plan" I believe the Moon Eye Plan was already tried once and it was done by Tobi on the Uchiha clan. This certainly would have weakened the minds of all those people making it a lot easier to kill them all the way they did..oh and speaking of they..
...I believe their was a third participant (AT LEAST) and his name is Shisui Uchiha. Why him? Kishi has let us know that he was the greatest genjutsu user of all-time for a reason and his death is still a mystery..a mystery created by the man himself..Shisui. Oooh..something crazy just came to mind..
...I think Shisui used Izanagi on himself during his "death"..but I want to use plot no jutsu here and say he used it for a longer time than we've been told it can be used. Why? Because I think he used it long enough to make the loss of his eyes an illusion. I think his confrontation with Danzo, where he nearly died, is when he initiated Izanagi and by the time he met up with Itachi to give him his other eye..it was just ending..
..his apparant suicidal drowing? That was an illusion. Ooooh more rambling here...I think Shisui used kotoamatsukami on a few prime Uchiha to get them to attack their fellow clansman..this created a chain reaction, causing other clansmen to defend themselves against these "rogue Uchiha" which made the clan's "assassination" even easier...
Now getting back to Shisui, why use Izanagi the way he did, I think he wanted Danzo and those against the Uchiha and Konoha for that matter to think he died so that he could "escape the hate" and flee somewhere where he can live a life of peace.
Ah...maybe none of this even makes any bit of sense after all...it did when I first started, but now I have even more questions than I've provided answers..smh :sy:

and yes its quite interesting how tobi and itachi pulled it off like that. but remember itachi is also a genjutsu master and tobi also has shown to be very cunning. controlling yagura with just a sharingan! a 3 tomoe sharingan! but if you're saying tobi might be shisui then there is an error remember shisui was not a evil person according to itachi. he gave itachi the crow to ''protect'' the clan. why would he gave his eyes up and then decide later on to attack the clan? :shrug: or unless that long hair man from the uchiha killing and with yagura was the real madara uchiha. and tobi would then continue madara's work
