I also believe hashiama had some sorta help from mito beccause theres a flashback in the anime or manga of hashirama puting kurama under his controll so mito can seal kurama within her, and you can tell it was during the fight beccause if you look at hashirama he looks bloody and damaged

Madara stated that he had a fight to the death with Hashirama, not Hashirama with help from Mito.

Mito most likely sealed Kurama into herself AFTER the fight between Hashirama and Madara.

When the manga said "Mito sealed Kurama in herself to better aid Hashirama" they probably mean that she sealed into herself so it wouldn't be an inconvenience to him during the fight. I doubt that they mean it was 2 vs 1.

If she sealed the Kuubi into her body DURING THE FIGHT, why would she not then help the Hokage (her husband) fight the strongest shinobi he ever fought...?

I think that Hashirama would leave Tobirama behind just in case he didn't cme back to take thinks over in the village for him as far as mito have no idea

And I don't know why people are saying that Madara stated that he was so much stronger than him when he said that there battle was life or death meaning either one could've won.

Also the kyuubi doesn't seem to have been a real threat against Hashirama... Hashirama took over control of kyuubi, and after that Mito sealed it in herself. Which means that Mito didn't strip Madara of his powers, but Hashirama did it.
