Kabuto closed his eyes since he could use his snake and Sage Mode sensing.

He used Amaterasu instead, not to mention he wasn't in the right position for Genjutsu.

As for your bit about Jins...well, manga has already spoken. If you aren't an Uchiha you can't break it. Doesn't matter if you use Genjutsu Kai.

And that's why Bee is able to resist genjutsu because he has another being inside of him that can release it. Chiyo already stated the perfect way to fight a dojutsu user who posses genjutsu.

It doesn't matter if you're a Jinchuriki, it was specifically stated in the manga that kai cancellation won't work on Itachi's Tsukyomi
