Uchiha in Hashirama's Time

People say the Uchiha in Hashirama's time weren't strong at all since only two Uchiha members had activated MS (Izuna and Madara) at that time and because there weren't proper academies to train the shinobi properly.

However, I do believe they were incredibly strong since it was stated by Itachi that many Uchiha spammed Izanagi which allows the user to connect illusion and reality. Through Izanagi, Uchiha can even escape death. Also, they were raised in a time where training was crucial from a very young age as children were sent to fight, unlike the current 4th Shinobi World War. I think this proves that Senju members were very powerful as they were able to defeat the Uchiha and I think this also proves the Senju were actually a 'clan of with a thousand skills'. If not, how else were they supposed to counter the Uchiha members?

And another thing, it also proves that the Senju weren't strong only because of Hashirama, but the entire clan were all formidable opponents.

if you dont mind,i think u r implying that Tobirama(specifically) and some other senju would have been at hashis level(i mean somewhat lesser).isn it?

No, I've just seen people argue the case that Senju weren't all that strong because the Uchiha weren't all that strong. Hashirama > all Senju. Manga fact.

It can't be, it only requires Senju DNA which the Uchiha can collect after killing Senju members. If it is an MS tech then that's a major mistake by Kishi.

Itachi cant truthfully speak for that ERA , only Madara, Tobirama & Hashirama could. Possibly Sarutobi since they were actually from that time.. Itachi's parents weren't even born then, so he cant speak from baring witness like they can.

Kid Madara / kid Hashi were both praised for their power by Madara's Father during their encounter.

Well , we could see a dramatic difference with 2 brothers who were completely different in everything almost.
looks and jutsu. Mokuton, summoning, healing witho0ut hand signs,
the other brother, masters Water jutsu, bringing the dead's corpses back to *life*, space/time jutsu.

Tobirama was indeed a powerhouse. They were mostly like group fights so anybody could capitalize on the enemy.
Or the enemies mistakes.

You could be right about Itachi but I'm sure Hiruzen stated Itachi was interested and looked into the history of the clan, unlike every other Uchiha.

touken you need to go re read the manga, inzanagi can be performed by the uchiha with their dojutsu but the technique wont be used at its full potential mastery WITHOUT senju dna, dosent mean they cant use the technique without senju dna.
