All sharingan users we have seen thus far are male. Which in my onpinion means its only a dominant trait for male Uchiha's. Any woman Uchiha would only be a carrier for said trait, which means to increase the probability of getting the Sharingan you would have to inter-breed which would cause deformities. The other option would be to mate outside Uchiha blood, which would weaken the sharingan because each new generation would be half the uchiha as the previous.

Som my question to you is how did the sharingan remain so strong?

I don't think the Sharingan would weaken. It's not like skin color which gets diluted when passed down. It's more like eye color. You never see a mix between brown and blue eyes if one parent has brown and one parent has blue. It's always one or the other. Either they have the potential to awaken the Sharingan or they don't.

I think they all have the potential to unlock it, but after every generation they become less and less uchiha then the previous, which is why I beleive even if the unlock the sharingan it would be weaker.

im not saying if it is weaker or stronger, it should be weaker but is is obviosly not based on the skills Itachi and Sasuke have shown.
