Uchiha clan and the hidden leaf village....

So...Obito, leader of the akatsuki threaten all five nations with war. So all five nations put aside their differences and work together to fight the akatsuki and protect their homes.

So...3rd hokage, Danzo, and the elders decided to have the uchiha clan massacred because of a potential civil war and possibly of other villages attacking the hidden leaf village.

Do you see where Im going with this?

3rd hokage, Danzo, and the elders rather have the uchiha clan dead than deal with a civil war because other villages would take the opportunity to attack.

The hidden leaf village is also the Uchiha Clan's home!!!!

If a civil war had taken place and other villages decided to attack the hidden leaf village, It is pretty much common sense that the 3rd hokage, Danzo, and the elders would put aside their differences with the Uchiha Clan and protect the Hidden leaf village.

Peace would've been achieved by the Uchiha Clan and the leaders by putting aside their differences and protect the village from other villages.

What a failed leader the 3rd hokage is; who claimed to be a scholar. :dead:

Been better if the clan never attempted to rebel like that, although they probably should have just left when they started being persecuted, which is ironically caused by their own members (Madara and Obito). Shame that the many always get wrapped up in the consequences of the few.

If they had left, Danzo wouldn't leave them alone. He would secretly attack them behind the 3rd hokage's back. Then some of the Uchiha members would get mad and attack the village back. It was really a "lose lose" situation for the Uchiha clan. Other villages might even attack the Uchiha clan, then blame the hidden leaf village for allowing them to leave the village.

You're oversimplifying it. They were definitely afraid of losing but they were more afraid of what would happen after. But for the most part I'd say they were fairly confident they could win against the Uchiha with high casualties. Keep in mind the Uchiha Clan was much smaller.

That may be truth. Using just manga facts, The 3rd hokage didn't do much prevent it from becoming a bigger a problem. Didn't even sit down with Sasuke's father, the leader of the clan to talk it out. Didn't even attempted much. I hate to say it, But The Uchiha Clan are more innocent than the 3rd hokage and the rest of them leaders.

It was stated that he was attempting negotiations and the Uchiha would not agree. Though I do agree that he failed to do his job to the best it could have been done.
